I was watching in delay, had hit 'threads you are on' and saw someibr had posted "Fuck Selasi!' and thought he'd gone (I thought it was later than it was)

So sad Benjamina has gone.

Is it just me or is this series a bit meh? I don't feel as though there have been any real highlights.

No Mel it's not just you. Other years the showstoppers have been amazing. Real 'wow' moments, I don't think there's been many (if any) this series.

Andrew's attempts are starting to get there though. Candice, as much as many dislike her has, and attempts, great ideas.

Very sad for Bmin nut pleased for Selasi. Agree that I'm not sure Candice should have been star baker with those dreadful pies although the meaty filling was nice (is that right?)..

I think Andrew should've got it actually as was pretty strong throughout and I loved his jousting pairs Grin

I'm feeling that way, Mel. There's been nothing really incredible and all the star bakers have had a bad round on the weekend they won.

There have been many cliffhanger moments in previous series.
Perhaps they are keeping them all for last few episodes this year

Tonight was the first time in weeks I have watched it live and it was the most intense of the series so far (I was so sure Selasi was heading home).

I don't like the pouting but I'll admit Candice can bake very well and she does tend to incorporate a lot of what Mary & Paul are looking for (DD would say she's trying to be the teachers pet). I wouldn't be at all surprised if she wins it.

Rooting for Selasi even more now! and maybe he can concentrate a little more after B has gone home

Jane or Andrew to win. Candice and selasi are smug. Selasi blatantly copies other people's techniques and takes others ideas as his own. He's done it a few times.

As much as I love Selasi I really think he deserved to go and Benjamina should have stayed. Really hope she gets something good (series/book deal/ tv appearances) out of her stint on the show

Selasi was lucky and I hate to say it but he'll be in the same position next week unless Candice, Andrew or Jane tank.

Would love to see him in the final three with Candice and Andrew.
Jane can go. Nothing wrong with her baking but I find her irritating to watch and because of that I haven't warmed to her at all.

Candice pulls faces when she is nervous...hence the pouting etc. When she is relaxed she doesn't do it. It's always when she is being judged or is a bit stressed. I love her enthusiasm and would be happy to see her win....any of them would be worthy winners though. Think Selasi has been weaker than Benjamina and thought he would go last night.

Andrew I just love, I think he's a great baker for such a young age.

Candice has really grown on me. I hope Selasi goes next week. Jane is great but lacks some of the flair needed to be a winner. I think Candice ciuld win it, she goes that bit further than the others.

I think Benjamina and Selasi are pretty much evenly matched. This week Benjamina was the right choice to go, next week (barring disasters from the others) it will be Selasi I think.

I think the winner will be Andrew or Candace.

I think Candace's gurning is something that has been picked up on by the editors and they've focussed on that, keeping every possible example in.
