I thought this was quite good last week - thought the death of the brother at the end was a bit of a shock but other than that, thought the acting was good and the script fairly sharp.

Looking forward to tonight's episode. I'd recommend it if you enjoy dramas especially political ones.

Yes, sorry, meant this was the last week.

Feel sorry for the actress who plays Jo having to look increasingly drawn and haggard as the weeks go on.

drooooooooool

I reckon Scott is even more tasty when he pouts

script a bit poorer this week but still good (reckon it's hard to write an episode when you don't know if it's the final one or not)

now, I wasn't watching with my glasses on (grrr), we didn't see what the text said did we?

Yes, must be hard to do "bring it all together but leave open for next series"!

Best line this week:

"I don't want her winning the seat and cutting our spending!"
"No, that's our job now."

thought Kirsty looked fab when she was in the flat with Danny

ahhhh I loved it

looking forward to next series

PS I emailed the BBC to ask about the soundtrack, but they replied saying "I dunno" (or words to that effect)

UnquietDad · 24/03/2007 00:12

ah! oh well, thanks for trying, molesworth.
I hope it gets re-commissioned!

Molesworth · 24/03/2007 09:44

I SO hope they make another series

Moomin · 24/03/2007 09:57

UnquietDad - I noticed the spelling thing on the front of the paper too! How many people in production must have seen that and thought it was ok?!

Moomin · 24/03/2007 09:58

and I missed the last one too - anyone want to give me a quick summary? Pleeeeeeeeease?

Molesworth · 24/03/2007 21:31

errrr

Ashika said no to James, raced back to the constituency and jumped into bed with Scott ... they are in lurve ... Scott promises he will warn her if he "goes nuclear" in the final week of the campaign

Photos of Ashika and James were organised by disgraced tory bloke, he sends CD of photos to labour campaign office - cue upset Scott and moral dilemma on whether to release them to the press thus making Ashika lose by-election. Scott decides not to use them, but Danny gets his revenge on Scott for sleeping with Kirsty by releasing photos to press himself.

Ashika thinks Scott has done it. Scott, distraught, rushes back to London to cry in his beer.

Press outrage, Ashika loses by-election by 200(ish) votes.

Scandal = gift for Jo Porter who savages James in the house.

Kirsty sleeps with smarmy Scottish bloke to get job but he gives it to someone else anyway. Kirsty (looking more and more attractive with each episode) apologises to Danny for sleeping with Scott.

Ending: Scott texts Ashika, Ashika wakes up and reads text then flumps back onto bed ...

Molesworth · 24/03/2007 21:32

That was a bit garbled moomin sorry.

Scott rushes back to London to cry in beer after Ashika loses by-election, not before!

UnquietDad · 24/03/2007 22:31

I really thouight Ashika was going to win! Couldn't see where her character would go in future series if not. Maybe she'll defect to UKIP?
