It's a bit predictable for Anton to be doing a Fred'n'Ginge number, isn't it?

I hate the theme weeks too. Worst is Halloween. So OTT that it distracts my addled brain from the dancing.

Do they dress up for movie week? Can't remember. See ref to addled brain.

Oops, sorry, Fred'n'Judy. But the principle's the same.

Anastacia is to dance the Viennese Waltz the same as Daisy

The latter is surely a 2/4 polka timeConfused - music Spoonful of Sugar
from Mary Poppins.

Lesley and Anton's Me and my Shadow should be good.

I suppose this time it's a character song, rather than one Fred actually danced to. Maybe she'll be dressed in scruffy tails and have a tooth blacked out Grin

Well that was me confounded Grin I didn't even hear Zo mention A & B Hmm.

This thread should of course be called THE DAANCE APPRECIATION Thread.

Pasha's glorious body does not enter my consciousness either Grin Grin Blush. We all are pure of mind, deed and thought aren't we? Grin Wink

Anastacia and Brendan's Viennese Waltz is to the same music as pasha and Kimberley's VW in the final a couple of years ago! I remember because I'd never heard it before (Twilight Saga passed me by) but it pulled the heartstrings at the time.

When I can remember past dances then you know it's getting repetitive. Not been watch that long!

Just found Harry Judd and Aliona dancing a rumba to "Everything I do" in 2011. Sooo romantic and I loved Harry .
My eyes are still filled up.

Natalie and Greg are dancing the American Smooth to it,

So...the question is, who is going to look more like Pudsey the dancing dog? Judge or Naga? Wink
Interesting that Ed's jive has been postponed for the....SAMBA Grin

DWTS peat under the category "jazz" Grin I enjoy DWTS but their jazz and contemporary are not very Strictly shall we say...I luff the Hough though, he is due to appear as Don on Broadway in SITR next year.

Thanks Kimmy but my laptop has run out of it's ability to 'back up' You Tube stuff.

The pudsey type stuff annoys me, which movie is he in? God save us. Hmm

I have never seen The Pudsey Movie (I do have some boundaries, nah, not really...it's more that Pudsey was a BGT thing not Deutschland sucht ein Superstar). But on Britain's Got Talent, the audition was Flintstones iirc and they did Mission impossible either for her maj Crown or finals.

Oh Lordy. I looked up Pudsey the movie out of idle curosity I am procrastinating and it only made 100k profit. It is beyond dire apparently (Simon Cowell produced it). Reviews including "I saw it for free and wanted a refund" and "Mahler's fifth should be played on the way out".
Jessica Hynes says it's "the worst job I've done". Grin
That bad, eh and I saw the Postman Pat reboot (Stephen Mangan, hold your head in shame, mate). Wink

Oh wow, Lesley and Anton are doing my favourite dance (the quickstep) to my all-time favourite song from a musical. I do hope they don't massacre it!

MIL bought the Pudsey movie for the children one time. I managed to intercept it before it was watched and surreptitiously move it to the charity shop pile.

I am looking forward to seeing Greg dressed as Robin Hood.

ppeat I loved Harry as he was very modest, even shy and had a cute sweetness about him. I could tell right at the beginning that he had great potential as a dancer.

Will Natalie be Maid Marion ? She will look stunning dancing an American Smooth to that beautiful lyrical music. Greg has much to do including lifts to do that lovely music and Natalie justice.
Keeping fingers crossed for them.

I thought that odd as the Samba bounce is very difficult for the men, more so than the jive footwork. The jive is faster and more exhausting though.

Daisy is not doing the viennese waltz, I must have misread that. Blush. However, the song makes for a slowish quickstep which will suit Daisy's long legs better than a faster Quickstep.

A BBC spokesman said: “Due to the nature of some of the content in the rules, publishing them in full would compromise our duty of care to participants

I'm trying (and failing) to come up with a rule that would compromise duty of care if it were disclosed in advance. I've googled 'Strictly come dancing rules' to either find a list of rules, or the source of the above quote, but nothing. Not that it matters particularly, and I didn't care one way or the other about Melvin (sp?) staying in, but I like accuracy!

Sorry if it's already been asked, but does anyone know the song they used for the Romeo & Juliet Pro routine on Sunday's show?
