We have just watched all 4 series over the past few weeks and now I'm missing it. And I'm so sad! Any fans around to chat? Still can't believe poussey died. God that was sad.

Yes we felt like that but the last episode was better.

Just finished S4 - I had to take a break after the episode where the guard made Suzanne fight her girlfriend and Lolly went to Psych; that to me was the bleakest bit or a very dark series. But it is SO well written and observed - the tension in the last episode was almost unbearable. Can't wait for S5.

I'm still annoyed that it just stopped.

Bennett movd to HTGAWM so I think that is mostly why it just ended! But agree the ending was shit!

I love the back stories, Crazy eyes one was so sad!!

Piper is massively annoying. I liked it when she got her commupence.

I think we'll have a Jenny Lee/Call The Midwife scenario where the main character can leave and the show still carry on.

She can't much of her sentence left now.

I quite liked Bennet's departure.

Realisation he wanted nothing to do with the dodgy family, the other inmates threatening him over Daya, Pornstache being sent down for her rape and his understanding that nothing good could come from the relationship.

Abandoning the crib which had been Daya's was a good way of showing he'd washed his hands of the whole thing.

He might come back though. Who knows.

But WHAT a cliffhanger, Justwantto!

I half hope she shoots him and half hope he is made to face the music.

I kind of missed what he actually did.

I know about the baby mouse. And obvs he had a gun when he shouldn't. And the fighting thingy. What else did he do?

My attention span is shot to shit and the guards all look the same.

Pipers sentence is farcical. They've made 13 months last five years! And does she do her time quietly? Does she heck.

Her egotistical girlfriend Alex is just poison. My fave girl in there is Nicky. I'd want her I'm my corner if the chips were down. And she's so adorable.

Yes season five drops next June. More seasons signed and in the pipeline.

Or piperline I suppose.

I agree that season 4, while compelling, was just so relentlessly grim compared to previous seasons. It's good that they don't shy away from dealing with the realities of prison (racial tension, sexual abuse, poor treatment of mentally ill offenders etc) but the subject matter of this show is so inherently depressing that it needs a good amount of humour to balance it out.

I do like that the focus has shifted away from Piper though. She's far from the most interesting character and the constant relationship drama between her and Alex was getting annoying.

I LOVED how the relationship between Big Boo and Doggett has developed over the last couple of seasons, such an unlikely alliance but they made it completely believable. I didn't like it when they fell out..glad they've patched things up.

I didn't like series 4 that much and those sadistic officers made a bit uncomfortable to watch.... But gosh what's gonna happen next?? Will Daya use that gun???

Totally. The yes/no on/off relationship bullshit has been done to death. Not just in OITNB, but in most TV series.

Time to move on. Romance/being in a relationship is not the be all and end all. Time to focus on some other stuff.

I like Piper's character, she's ruthless but has principles, in a funny way.

I also like Alex, but I don't like then together.

Never finished watching season 3, just didn't like it and skipped right to 4.
The mouse was brutal, I couldn't watch.

The mouse bit was so disturbing.

I liked this season. I 'liked' or felt uncomfortable at the very realistic way the rapist guard (who raped pensatucky) identified with being a nice guy. he just felt entitled to rape her, and somehow that sat alongside his identity as a fairly nice guy. Boo's anger on behalf of pensatucky, opening her eyes to the fact that the guard had had NO right, and then boo's anger with Pensatucky for not hating the guard......... it was all very well written.

All the stuff about privatising prisons was a bit of an American issue.

Boo is amazing. Very caring but in a non-douchey way.

She'd make a good president.

I want Red for president.

We are on second season and love it. By the time i saw this, I could see it was a spoiler but looked anyway!

I went off Boo in her flashback episode, when she refused to dress nicely when her mother was dying.
