Just seen the trailer
Cue weeks of theoretical hiding locations pros and cons 😳😂

Interesting little thought.
In the latest episode they had a short scene with the two black lads in a car with a woman and her kids. Where was the camera man then?
That says to me that the camera man was in another vehicle? A production vehicle?
Its all a massive set up I reckon, but its interesting still Grin

Just watching episode 2 now on catch up. On catch up there's also mini episodes covering some if the stuff previous people on here have questioned. Eg mobile phones, payg phones aren't safe either. I also watched the first series and I agree seems more scripted, less realistic this time. Also agree unfair them all starting from a city full of CCTV, also gave an unfair advantage to fugitives who know the area. You'd think the fugitives would have learned not to call friends and family and certainly not to meet them!

The mini episodes also state there is a camera person and director with each set of fugitives but they don't have obvious or large equipment with them.

I do think it's been made far too easy with drones and the starting point for the hunters, frankly this isn't only unfair on the fugitives but makes the hunters look pathetic for needing so much help.

Just giving this a bump as DS has just made me sit and watch it with him on catch-up. Agree that there are lots of things that make me go Hmm but I found it fascinating and I'm looking forward to this evening's episode.

Tink06 · 13/10/2016 21:50

Nick Cummings to win! He gets such a slating every week yet he still manages to out fox them. Loved what he did tonight 😀

Twatty · 13/10/2016 21:52

Just found this thread so I could say .......

Nick cummings fantastic! GrinGrinGrin

OreoHeaven · 14/10/2016 19:51

He's a clever bunny isn't he?

Looks like Ayo will be captured next week. Why on earth did he use the Scane family vehicle to leave in after their Twitter response when ANPR was obviously going to notice it being London bound? Fool.

MrsJoeyMaynard · 14/10/2016 20:20

Frankly, if he's daft enough to start taunting them on twitter and phoning up HQ, he deserves to get caught.

MyVisionsComeFromSoup · 14/10/2016 20:37

After not really taking to him initially, we're rooting for Nick now. Can't stand Ago, but would quite like to see Madu do well, now he's not with Ayo

RTKangaMummy · 14/10/2016 20:57

Very set up but am still enjoying it just looking at it as not real iyswim

Loved the fact that Nick tricked them yesterday GrinGrin

CurbsideProphet · 14/10/2016 21:42

Just caught up with last night's episode and really want Nick to go the distance!

MyWineTime · 14/10/2016 23:19

It is SO contrived and fake. The first series was much better.
They must have lots of spare cameramen. When the 2 blokes split up, there was a cameraman to follow both of them. When Nick had his friend pretend to be him, there was another spare cameraman to follow both.
So many lucky breaks or moments of insight from the hunters - don't believe they are not being fed key information.

graphista · 15/10/2016 21:10

It's not just camera operators on fugitives team there's 2 production teams so of course it's possible for them to arrange extra cameras etc

Watching on catch up LOVE nick and have from the beginning he seems an intelligent lateral thinker and has good support from intelligent people too. Yet he has no sense of how good he is

Ayo-idiot! From beginning on the phone ALL THE BLOODY TIME! Not only makes you wonder if he's never seen Hunted before but has he not seen ANY modern police show ever made?!

Madu way better off without him!

SimonLeBonOnAndOn · 15/10/2016 21:17

I so want Nick to win

As someone who uses surveillance, I can say that the tracking of phones is not instant like they show it.

OreoHeaven · 16/10/2016 11:01

Ayo thinks he's a bit of a whizz on the IT front hence all the taunting but it's been his downfall.

Would be great if the two girls also make it. Does concern me about other youngsters watching the show who may be tempted to hitchhike based on what they've seen.

graphista · 21/10/2016 01:01

Loving that Nick's managed to evade all the hunters surveillance for over a week!!

CurbsideProphet · 27/10/2016 21:12

I'm watching the last one now. No mention of where they need to make their way to. Last year I think it was a private airfield in Surrey?

graphista · 27/10/2016 21:14

Ooh is it last one?

CurbsideProphet · 27/10/2016 21:29

Yes last one tonight!

228agreenend · 27/10/2016 21:30

Nick will be devastated if he gets caught. I'll miss this, programme. Guess I'll have to,tune into The Apprentice.

Twatty · 27/10/2016 21:38

That dear old lady get away driver, she was bloodly brilliant Grin

annandale · 27/10/2016 21:43

Blimey a jetty - presumably a speedboat pick up and some kind of homage to French Connection II [a film i think only about 3 people ever saw]

GUTTED that the girls got caught. Loved the pensioner running the hunter over.

But really tired that they are just sliding over the details. Where has Io got his money from? Where have any of them got their money from? I liked all the details in the first series, this is all about fake drama.

The lesson of this series is 'don't be a bloody snitch'. I thnk they should line up all the people who have snitched and publicise them as The Untrustworthy.

motheroreily · 27/10/2016 21:48

I'm so stressed

CurbsideProphet · 27/10/2016 21:52

She certainly was!

I think it's a total set up that the hunters would suddenly start looking at boats transmitting signals. It annoys me that the producers would treat the viewers like they are eejits!

228agreenend · 27/10/2016 21:52

The programme shows that you can't trust anyone!

How on earth did they conclude that the rib was the getaway 'car' and that the Isle,of Sheppey was the location? There are loads of small ports and marinas along the coast in Kent. Why there? Did they know it was Kent?

I actually feel a bit sorry for Nick. He obviously has low self-esteem, with being a sahd and his wife a Gp/breadwinner..

motheroreily · 27/10/2016 21:53

I think the single extraction point is so unfair.
