Cold Feet-a-thon

Cold Feet was originally on when I was in my late teens/early twenties and I watched bits of it at the time but was more of a This Life kinda girl as it reflected the stage I was at more.

I've had the complete Cold Feet box set on DVD (I know- archaic, right?) for months now in preparation for catching up ahead of season 6 only to realise that it starts a week today!!

So I've decided to try and watch all 35 episodes over the next 7 days. Totally do-able, right?! I don't return to work until next week and while I've a bit of freelance stuff on the go, it's my mission to be caught up by Monday.

Who's with me?!

Child- itv is free... but it's all being wiped at midnight tonight.

I'm on series 4, ep 2. Got DS bday party today. Not sure I'm going to make it to the end, might have to skip some episodes! Got till 11.59pm today to finish.

Watching it again I am surprised at how much I now dislike Adam.

He was an amusing cheeky chappie - with the benefit of age and now I have a family, he has become an irritating, self absorbed man child!!

I think if Rachel had been a Mumsnet poster we would have all been shouting LTB!!

Finished series 3 - no way will I be ready to watch tonight. Will catch up later (but red reviews etc).

On series 4 at the moment. I don't remember so much cheating. Have recorded the start of the new series and hoping to get the old ones finished by the end of the weekend.

I'm watching it from the beginning - in series 1, Pete's dad dies. In the most recent series, he's alive! Did anyone else notice that?

Do you mean the James Bolam character? He isn't Pete's dad.

Oh sorry, isn't he? I thought he said it was his dad. Who is he then?

He seems to be an old bloke that Pete has come across with his work and has taken under his wing. He called Pete his "carer" when talking to his own son about why he was trying to escape from the visit to a nursing home by doing a runner from the car.

Ohhh okay, thanks! I thought they'd forgotten about his dad!

So how old was little Adam when they got back from NY, because he looked about 5/6 to me. Given that Matthew is now 15 in the new series, why is little Adam still in a school uniform at 20ish?

Where is Josh and Ramona?

If adam made up with his dad so much, how come he wasn't at his wedding in the new series and he had to explain to matthew that he was bisexual? Obviously didn't keep in touch.
