My first point of discussion is that after watching DC start to finish around 10 times I have only just (this time round) realised that Dawson knew about Pacey and Joey before Jen accidentally told him. When she said about Pacey telling him he said "Its something about him and Joey isnt it?" So he knew! Deep down he already knew.

Also, Andi has to be the most annoying character ever created. Open your mouth when you talk!

The episode at the end of Season 3 when Joey chose Pacey instead of him made my heart sing.

Me too, except I hate that she needed Dawson's permission to do it. There was far too much thought given by everyone to what Dawson's thoughts were regarding P&J's entire relationship.

Pacey has pretty much set the standard for any future partners of mine. which is why i've been single for 6 years

Yes I hated the whole 'permission' thing from Dawson too. He behaved as if he owned Joey and she went along with it which was very annoying. Even when she was in an established relationship with Pacey she felt the need to protect Dawson's feeling and deny that she was sleeping with P.

I think the season when all that occurred (4) was my favourite. Felt so sad for Pacey when everyone got a college offer apart from him and you could see how all their lives were diverging.

I also compared almost every boyfriend I had in my twenties with him

He tried to do it with Jen too when she was seeing the guy with the mansion. He went and basically squared up to the guy to warn him off trying to have sex with Jen then went and warned Jen that the guy wanted to have sex with her. Like some walking chastity belt.

Ooh also!! The whole big deal over Joey sleeping with Pacey. That was never ever Dawson's business. When they came back from their 3 month sailing summer he didnt ask "the question" because he said he was the only person the answer could potentially kill. WHY?? Did he really believe he had some sort of claim on Joey's virginity? I found that whole thing really creepy, even weirder that everyone pandered to it!

I love the castaways episode in season 6, who knew a shave could be so romantic

I have found my people!

I've actually lost track of how many times I have watched DC start to finish. I was about 13 when it started on TV and really weirdly my mum and dad used to watch it with me. That's a bit cringe now that I think about it! I used to record every episode on VHS and watch them again and again. I had secretly been in love with Joshua Jackson since Mighty Ducks so was a massive Pacey fan.

I'm in the process of transferring old home movies from camcorder tape onto DVDs and when I was watching one back you can hear the DC Season 1 soundtrack playing in the background! Really took me back. Might have to look and see if it's ok iTunes.

Am off for a week due to depression and have taken to my bed with my bun.

On disc three if series one. The last two episodes I've watched I actually saw years ago.

Anyway, I'm enjoying it greatly.

Loved and still love Dawsons Creek. In my mid-40's! Some of my favourite moments -

• when Pacey kisses Joey for the first time and the camera spins around them both - that's what a proper first kiss feels like, head spinning.
  
• when Pacey dances with Joey at the prom on the boat and he says something about her necklace, she says 'you remembered?', and he says 'I remember everything'. Gets me every time.
  
• when Mitch dies and they play 'fire & rain' by James Taylor, beautiful song.
  
• I did really like joeys boyfriend Eddie at uni, played by the guy from Nashville, but Pacey still is better
  
• love the entire 5 years later episode. When joey and Pacey try to have a serious talk in the kitchen and keep getting interrupted.

I loved the episode where Joey and pacey get locked in the shop over night. And Joey shaves Pacey's beard off.
