Thought this episode lacked the humour of the first but the drama picked up in the last 20 mins with one particular 'gasp' moment. I'm enjoying it, very watchable. Also love the 80's nostalgia, clothes and musical references. I'm waiting for a scene set in Chelsea Girl!

Enjoyed tonight's but more drama less comedy - hopefully the butcher will be ok.

Just watching episode 2 now - I was only 6 in 1982 so can't comment on historical accuracy, but I'm enjoying the programme & hoping for a feel good outcome. It does seem like a Sunday night drama to me though rather than Monday.

seen 1&2 - loving it, so nice to see so many well known faces

The policeman is called 'Doc Brown' - don't think that is actually his real name, he is/was a rapper and comedian, but has also been the teacher on the 4 o'clock club on CBBC and in Law & Order UK.

The policeman is the drug dealer on the episode of the inbetweeners where they all smoke weed.

I enjoyed the first episode but thought it was full of cliches. The second episode was really good, although a bit heavy. I was 20 in 1980 and don't recognise the lives of those women as I was a gad about London having a whale of a time. But I do remember the casual bum patting etc, the underlying feeling that, however independent we were, we were still supposed to be immune to bring pawed etc

Is that policeman a one man police force?

He's like Billy the vicar in Corrie, every time you turn round, he's there with his constipated expression

My maternal Gm divorced my Gd in the early 50s due to his affairs and drinking.

Although I think that they lived apart and the actual grounds were his desertion.

I liked the policeman until I saw that he was crying.

I don't understand why she didn't tell Barry about his gf after he lost her child. Although she was remarkably calm throughout the whole thing for someone who's child was missing.

I'm enjoying it although much of the storyline is bleeding obvious
