Thought I'd open up in anticipation as I have Fat Club tonight so may miss the very start.

I was going to suggest a drinking game. Take a swig every time Greg(g) gurns to camera but we would all be pissed in the first 3 minutes.

These slebs seem to be much better than the previous two groups at this stage

fourquenelles · 06/07/2016 20:52

Looks like Tina will be going then

fourquenelles · 06/07/2016 20:52

At least Amy hasn't got those ridiculous sharpie eyebrows Davros

OP posts:
fourquenelles · 06/07/2016 20:58

That's a bit of a shame bless her she was trying so hard.

Ooh, I called that wrong. I thought Tina would be going, but they liked her fluorescent finnan haddie. Who knew?

Davros · 06/07/2016 21:03

Good description, "sharpie eyebrows". She seemed nice but didn't really have a clue in the cooking front. Neither course looked cooked enough

SallyGardens · 06/07/2016 23:15

Noooo - the Been moved MasterCard to BBC2 because of the tennis and my skybox didn't record. I can't even use Player because I'm not in the UK :(

ellenanora5 · 06/07/2016 23:17

Oh my god, I just pressed play and all I got was bloody tennis, no MasterChef, no confit egg or sous vide shite in sight, what happened!!!

Am raging, shaking, fuming, red mist has descended and I'm leaving mumsnet forever, yes I am, I am, no don't try to stop me I am going, now, in a minute, later on maybe, but it will be soon, you won't know when, you won't know how, but I'll be gone, and it will be all bloody Wimbledons fault, so there Grin Grin

Oh ok then, I'll stay for one more episode, tennis permitting of course Wink

mrswhiplington · 07/07/2016 10:53

Really looking forward to Masterchef instead of football last night and they moved it to BBC2, so it didn't record. Found out after it had been on for 20 mins. Shouted at the telly that it was disgusting that they had moved it. My DD says "why is it disgusting?", I say "it just is, they shouldn't be allowed to do that". Sorry for rant. I downloaded it this morning instead. PhewGrin

SallyGardens you didn't miss much. I like Sid Owen, I kept wanting to shout "Rickyyy" at the screen!

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 07/07/2016 16:08

I could not take my eyes off Amy Child's face...it looked painted, shaded, highlighted, buffed, shiny AND matte all at the same time ... and the top lip! dear oh dear!
I thought it was difficult to call between Amy and Tina, was very meh about either of them.

Also expected Sid Riiiiiiiiiiiickkkkkkkkkkyyyyyyyyyyy to have a bit more about him, kitchen wise, he just cooked ALL the things for the first challenge!
Did not used to like Louise Minchin very much, always seemed a bit simpery on the breakfast sofa, but over the past while she really seems to have grown on me. I suppose it was this or Strictly :o

fourquenelles · 07/07/2016 20:24

There there ellen you luff us really and where would you go? Nethuns? No stay here and make changes from the inside like we bloody should have done a couple of Thursdays ago Wink.

OP posts:
HalsallRedux · 08/07/2016 01:47

Yes, don't leave us, ellen!

(Besides, no-one EVER leaves us. There is no escape from the sous-vide confit egg. Mwahahahaha!)

ellenanora5 · 08/07/2016 20:02

Grin ah I could never leave you lovely lot Smile

I'm keeping an eye on bbc tonight incase there is a change in programming though.

fourquenelles · 08/07/2016 20:29

Settling in for the next round. Just had a delicious chicken dhansak so full belly and I am in a mellow mood. How long that will last with Greg(g) being Smuggy McSmugerson who knows.

Hi fourquenelles, we had hotdogs and chips, was lovely.

Ooh Tina Malone looks a lot different.

fourquenelles · 08/07/2016 20:33

She does doesn't she! I have been trying to pace her then it came to me. She was in Shameless wasn't she?

OP posts:
fourquenelles · 08/07/2016 20:33

Evenin' all Grin

This is a stinking round. The basic premise is hard enough but rabbit?? Scary.

ellenanora5 · 08/07/2016 20:35

Yep many years ago, and I watched a documentary about her having her first baby, think she was fifty at the time but I could be wrong on that.

ellenanora5 · 08/07/2016 20:36

Evening June, I wouldn't have a clue what to do with rabbit.

JuneFromBethesda · 08/07/2016 20:37

Me neither ella, I'd run screaming from the kitchen I think Grin

Tina Malone had shedloads of plastic surgery didn't she? I never watched Shameless, that's all I know about her. Weight loss surgery and a much younger husband. What a celeb Hmm

fourquenelles · 08/07/2016 20:37

Crikey 50 for your first is brave and I say that as a geriatric primigravida meself!

OP posts:
HalsallRedux · 08/07/2016 20:37

Missed the very start. Evening all!

Tina was on Sleb Mastermind as well. Think her agent is possibly just entering her for everything with 'Sleb' in the title Hmm

JuneFromBethesda · 08/07/2016 20:38

Grin Halsall Much like Sinitta earlier in the series then, she seems to have been on everything.
