As usual I will start a new thread each live show night! (lottiejenkins is my old name!)
I nearly missed out on tonight as I didnt realise it was on!
My newish DP is being gradually converted to watching! He was made to watch SCD last year too!

Did I miss the danger with the arrow man last night? I said to DH after I didn't get it at all. Or the mistake, although I was playing on my phone at the time. Poor effort last night. I voted for the impressionist as if he had gone through he would have got rid of all that staging crap and just been him. I think his impressions are good and I don't want a final of pure singers and dancers, which is what it will be. I don't think there is that much variety this year, apart from the shite they put through that never make it past the semi's.

Did anyone else think the music on the ballroom dancers was weird? It sounded like they had slowed Beyonce's songs down, really odd sounding, and they weren't fast enough dancing which is a shame as they looked quite good but it didn't fit with the slowed down music.

I'm predicting those projection people tonight. I think people will like it as it's different. I think it's a bit Attractionesque for me.

Yes 80s they won and the mother and son went through on the public vote after the judges voted 2 each.

Arrow man's mechanism failed so 2 were set off instead it of 1 and the ballroom dancers were out of sync they missed a bit and couldn't catch up that's how it looked weird

At 14 I had just about stopped finding it mortifying being spotted with my mother in public (sorry Mum!) but the idea of singing love songs with one of my parents on national TV doesn't appeal even now!

beyours, thank you. I had a feeling they would win this round after all the praise and coming on last too. I liked the Welsh singer Kathleen and I hope she does well now shes had some exposure. Wasn't keen on the mum and son, seems a bit odd to me but I doubt they will win it all anyway.
I think its had its day too to be honest, although Simon seems more relaxed on this than on the X factor!

So disappointed by last night, hope tonight's is better.

i cant say theres any act stands out to be the favourite to win maybe that couple that done the floaty dancing although i think it was just the back round scene that was moving and they were lying on the floor

Martins colleague died doing an impression of Snozzlearning somebody or other. He got a rubber lining stuck onto his face, couldn't breathe and died in front of him as he thought his struggling to breathe was part of the act. Lmao at it.
