Why would Sharon have Grants number? i thought Grant was Peggy's fave son - as pp said - Crackhead Phil was surely a bit of a letdown to his ma, he burnt down her pub ffs!
If I was Peggy I'd be fuming that every time I sent foot in Phils house there's loads of random people there, but was Peggy not bothered at all that Kathy is back?!

I teared-up a couple of times. My mum died of cancer 25 years ago, refusing any treatment. Londoner born and bred, by the time she told anyone about her illness, she was too far gone to get in a roller or on the tube and go for a final look at her old haunts. I also cried thinking of my own mortality, would my family be there for me in the way Peggy's son and all his very many ex wives and grandchildren are there for Peg? .

And I was incredibly frustrated by Sharon ('you always were an interfeeerin' CAAAH!') phoning Grant. No right at all to do that. Hope Peggy gives her own last slap. Ugh. It's not all about you Sharon.

I wondered about Sam Mitchell as well. Where is she? Is she still supposed to be alive? They only mentioned telling Grant but not her. I can't remember what happened to her.

I love Shirley too. She's the queen of dirty looks.

I dont know where Sam went with her baby she was in it long enough to get pregnant have the baby but i cant remember much about it

Cant remember where Sam Mitchell or who she had a child with. she is never mentioned is she? there were a few Sams round in the 90s ( kept changing the actress) one of which had an odd mouth, what I can remember. I think she had a fling with Dirty Den once too? I do lose track.

Peggy hates Sharon and always has so why is she suddenly all nice to her. The nice old lady who keeps saying "ooh how lovely" every 5 minutes routine is shit - this is Peggy Mitchell FFS. She should be telling Kathy Sharon and Shirley to do one and giving them a mouthful!!!
And Phil is the disappointing son and Grant was always the favourite so why has that reversed???
