Mmmmm chocolate turdy thing

WordGetsAround · 03/05/2016 17:33

Wow - I would love to go to his restaurant! Must add it to the list (who am I kidding? List gets longer - nothing ever gets ticked off!!)!

WordGetsAround · 03/05/2016 17:36

p.s I'd take on Squoosh for Marcus any day!!! Bring it on!
[runs away, scared]

squoosh · 03/05/2016 17:37

WordGetsAround I agree about Michael. He was the loveliest guy on Great British Menu, I was glad his sooty fish and chips won.

Stay away from Marcus.

Rousette I'd forgotten about that joyless place in Sweden they were sent to last year. It was all herring foam with wood shavings if I recall.

squoosh · 03/05/2016 17:37

Ha nice x-post!

GrouchyKiwi · 04/05/2016 19:08

Rashly told DH we could watch Star Wars tonight (May the Fourth and all that guff) so I hope it's a very boring episode that engenders little discussion.

Enjoy!

Roussette · 04/05/2016 20:58

Off to Mexico then!

Hope they've packed the Immodium!

Roussette · 04/05/2016 21:01

Mum of four janes head wobbling is going into overdrive

HalsallRedux · 04/05/2016 21:06

Hola! I could never eat a diet of Mexican food. I'd be 27 stone in no time.

Roussette · 04/05/2016 21:07

Yes I fancy a burrito now! How colourful it is there... lovely

My DD1 was in Mexico City recently and had a side of cactus with her breakfast eggs. She said it was lovely!

Roussette · 04/05/2016 21:08

Jane's a bit slow chopping one at a time isn't she?

fourquenelles · 04/05/2016 21:08

Hola! In a previous existence I worked in Mexico City for a week. At lunch one day the chap sitting next to me had something that smelt like rotting flesh. It was all I could do not to throw up on him. It was a delicacy apparently but I have forgotten what (thank God).

Roussette · 04/05/2016 21:09

I'd love to go Blue never been. Wonderful for your DD.

Wow four you'll know all about the cuisine then! I'm a bit ignorant... tacos, burritos and chilli is about all I know!

Rousette She was there on a business trip and really loved it. She feels very lucky to have been able to visit the place but not to have paid for the trip herself!

Queenbean · 04/05/2016 21:11

Hola

This bit is always the most boring isn't it. We just want them to cook their own food!

HalsallRedux · 04/05/2016 21:11

Dh spent several weeks there for work once, the thing that really horrified him was the gallons of fizzy sweet drinks everyone consumed daily. It's an unbelievably high amount.

SwedishEdith · 04/05/2016 21:11

Billy looks like John Torode. Bet someone's already said that?

Chipstick10 · 04/05/2016 21:12

Why does Greg shout?

blueskyinmarch · 04/05/2016 21:13

It looks bloody tricky! Basic cooking conditions and they are flummoxed.

Pomegranatemolasses · 04/05/2016 21:13

Gregg itching to leap in shrieking 'five minutes'

fourquenelles · 04/05/2016 21:13

Not really Roussette. I had wonderful thick yoghurt and honey with fresh fruits for breakfast rather than the chilli eggs and refried beans also on offer. Lunch was always very late (3pm onwards) so I was hangry by the time I ate. I remember salads, the smell of limes everywhere and corn, corn, corn.
