Did anybody else find that Liz reminded them of Jackie, the street food 'expert' from a few series back? She was one of the most annoying contestants ever. Liz was nothing like as bad but it seemed to come as a much bigger surprise to her than to any of us that she wasn't keeping up with the rest of them. Couldn't she see what they were doing? Her dish on Wednesday was a disgrace. My fish pie looks better than that, and I'm no Masterchef!

Finalists: Juanita and Jack + who else? I don't really mind at this stage, but I would say Billy and Jane are a tad behind the rest. I think I would prefer Stuart over Annie.

Liz was rubbish towards the end. I loved that she was still super competitive and clearly thought she was being hard done by by being given the boot!

Twirly Tache isn't annoying me as much as he did at the start and those ox cheeks looked ah-mazing. So he might make the final.

I initially thought it would be Annie, Juanita and Jack but Annie seems to be losing her touch.

Juanita's strawberry pudding was so, so pretty. Ruined only by the Rotund Greengrocer leering at it.

I thought Jane's lobster dish also looked gorgeous but her flappiness and her high pitched nervous giggles get on my nerves.

I think Liz's fish pie set her on the way to losing. MY fish pie looks (and probably tastes) a helluva lot better than that, don't know what possessed her. Don't like it when I think I can cook something better than a contestant (this is a first mind!)

Juanita's strawberry dessert was a thing of beauty.
