Sorry, who are that couple? (5 minutes behind!)

MakingJudySmile · 20/04/2016 21:36

I imagine they must do DorothyL. Seems extreme!!

RainbowJack · 20/04/2016 21:37

£250,000 to have a baby!! Shock

MakingJudySmile · 20/04/2016 21:37

The American couple CakeNinja? He works in the American embassy in Morocco - well they move around the world.

umiaisha · 20/04/2016 21:43

I can't imagine how often the staff must have to bite their tongues when dealing with some of the 'entitled' patients...

I know 2 people who have had babies there. One paid, the other was sent there after the london nhs hospital she was booked into was too busy and short staffed to perform her caesarean - what luck!!

CakeNinja · 20/04/2016 21:47

Thanks Making, did I hear right that they've paid for the entire family to live in Kensington for months aswell?! Crikey.

soundsystem · 20/04/2016 21:49

"Nick and wife Kinga have finally gone into labour" Hmm

(I'm watching a bit behind)

Fannycraddock79 · 20/04/2016 21:49

That american guy is really annoying me about the pain relief. He isn't the one doing it so it's not upto him. Reminds me of Sam faiers manchild Paul.

RainbowJack · 20/04/2016 21:51

I wonder who the VIPs are

CakeNinja · 20/04/2016 21:52

Farking hell, American husband is getting on my tits just via the tv Confused

umiaisha · 20/04/2016 21:54

I think they are arab royalty - going on the display of dates!!

BikeRunSki · 20/04/2016 21:55

The compression stockings are still as ugly!

MakingJudySmile · 20/04/2016 21:57

Yes CakeNinja, they've been living in Kensington for two months!! All paid for - something else!!

HarlettOScara · 20/04/2016 21:57

I like Kinga...sod the tea and scones, where's the whisky.

SuffolkNWhat · 20/04/2016 21:59

I think the footballer might be Rooney

MakingJudySmile · 20/04/2016 22:02

Do the Rooneys have a daughter?

SuffolkNWhat · 20/04/2016 22:03

Ah missed that bit so not them then

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 20/04/2016 22:03

No I think they only have boys. And I'm pretty sure the last one at least was born at the Liverpool Women's.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 20/04/2016 22:09

I loved Kinga, she was great. I think the husband let her down a bit saying it was silly not to use the pain relief on offer... It's great to have it (I did!) but she didn't want it, and he could've supported her a bit Hmm

chocomochi · 20/04/2016 22:11

Only managed to watch last 20 mins. Will have to watch on catch up.

bibbitybobbityyhat · 20/04/2016 22:12

I watched this last week and found it infuriating.

Yes, of course I know programmes like this are edited to deliver a certain message.

I just hate that money buys you privilege in a life/death situation like childbirth. And some of the participants just seemed so fucking clueless about life in the real world. I don't find it sad that someone is worried about her "belly" and losing her filthy rich man because of it. I find her extremely stupid for buying in to that whole world. Stupid and certainly not fit for the job of having a baby.

Gah! Tax the rich, I say

WonderingAspie · 20/04/2016 22:38

Someone actually mentioned skin to skin! First time.

I thought the fact they let them redecorate bloody ridiculous. Why can't people tell rich, pampered spoilt adults NO. You are in for a few nights, having a baby, not designing a room for an interiors magazine. The people who wanted 4 rooms for staff and visitors and the baby were ridiculous. VIP or not. Get a grip, you don't need a nursery when you are in for about 3 nights.

I'd love to know who the VIPs were.

Pat seemed disapproving again. Saying they were more concerned with their staff/maternity nurse than the baby. But then a lot,of them do come across like that. They definitely said Pat was looking after 6 babies.

Says the woman who's deliberating over which million pound house to buy Grin

Sorry, couldn't resist...

VertigoNun · 20/04/2016 23:07

I was pleased that the English couple had a better birth this time, she seemed young for her age.

The pregnant staff member seemed very tired.

Presidents daughter, which country? Which footballers WAG?

Pigeonpair1 · 21/04/2016 08:31

If I'd been one of the patients "bumped up/down" to the paediatric floor to make way for some VIP or VVIP (!!), I'd have been seriously unimpressed!!!
