I think Henry shot the taxi driver because he saw him on Marcella's wall of death when Jason took him round (as in thinking that he was the taxi driver that was sat outside Grace's house and a possible witness).

No idea how he was connected to the call girl at all though
The only reason she got involved was because she stole the 'trophies', but I thought he was gay.

Please can the Line of Duty producers be airlifted in to sort out this sorry excuse for a thriller?

No sense, way too many loose ends, way way too many characters with nothing to do but look pensive or menacing and a lacklustre ending.

Sorry! I'm thinking maybe Marcella walked into house (broke in?) and found Grace dead. Maybe she thought her husband did it, had some weird blackout as she seems to do when stressed and then hid the body during her blackout phase to try and protect her husband?
Not sure how the prostitute got all the trinkets though? Did we know Henry was gay though, maybe his best friend was gay but they knew eachother from childhood and Henry is straight?

Didn't Grace open the door to Marcella? So when was she killed and why would Marcella go back there and move the body?

I've just read back over the recaps, and I think I just assumed that Henry was gay.
I don't think it was ever explicitly said that he was, only that he was a lifelong friend of Matthew.

Does anyone know his motive? Or am I being thick

The writer also wrote The Bridge but Marcella seemed to be more like Sarah from the brilliant The Killing even down to wearing that sodding jacket all the time (Sarah had her jumpers)

yes, everyone assumed Henry was gay - well maybe he was bi- but they've really misled the public.
Grace DID open the door to Marcella - they had a shouting match about Jason (M had flashbacks) - so then what happens? M has a blackout and Henry kills Grace in that convenient moment?? He had a plan, but he couldn't have planned her blackouts. Or did she leave Grace's house, then he killed her, and then M got back in again - absolute rubbish!
Plus she never had such blackputs that she was doing anything complex or strenuos during them - it was usually juts a violent outburst and then blank. To actually lift the body and DRIVE while having a blsckout is absolute nonsense, pretty sure impossible!

Cullen's friend having a stab wound at same time as the break in happened presumably by Henry) and then that being shown to viewres is again absolutely ridiculous!

I did enjoy Henry's performance as a killer and the thriller bit where she blacked out realistically in this episode and woke up to him with the bag on head - that was good.

Tim turned out to be an idiot - he was so keen on her yet spoiled it all for himself with his childish boasting to Jason (who's just shitty overall) and then about cctv. I did guess pages back that he saw the cctv but I thought he might have killed the cab driver to protect M! obviously not but at least he kept quiet.

Watching in Scotland and the narrator at the end of the programme said 'find out what happens in the last episode tomorrow night' ? I thought that was the last one????

In the very first scene of the very first episode she was in the bath with blood on her face. Why????

Glad it's not just me who was confused. The series has gone on so long that there are a lot of details I can't remember. I can't remember where Grace's body was actually found and why moving it is significant, Marcella moving it whilst "blacked out" is extremely improbable medically and if she has black outs and drives her driving licence should be removed. I really hated the "blackout" element. Only in fiction does this sort of stuff happen.
I got the young similar aged blokes all muddled up and thought Henry was gay. How can he have alibis for the killings? Surely they'll fall apart when pushed. Surprised they didn't find Matthew DNA in his basement and search all his possessions like the boat when he was in custody. I got confused as to what relation Henry was to Grace and Grace's mum as well. They said early on and I thought he was some sort of brother but when a series is drawn out they could do with a "murder in Paradise" type ending where the head cop draws all the threads together and explains exactly what happened and why.
Marcella was too much of a fruit loop to be allowed to be a cop.
Police charging in to dangerous situations without calling for back up is just silly and overused. At least they didn't have her being saved at the last minute from bag over the head killing, that's the usual format.

Right, have read everyone's comments and I'm about to watch it.I'm not expecting to be any the wiser afterwards though!
