I'm not a Maddie-fan either and as Gatehouse says, there's a constipated look to her when she's performing and getting the message that she's a better dancer and therefore more special than anybody else. I don't think she's the best dancer, I think Chloe is and Brooke has the potential to be better than Maddie too.
I like Chloe, McKenzie, Brooke and Paige - Chloe most of all. If I were her mother, I'd forget about 'Broadway' and would have put her into a ballet academy for pure ballet training as that seems to be Chloe's thing.
The best dance mom is Kelly, in my opinion, she really does seem to have her children's best interests at heart. Melissa is a nightmare who is living through her Maddie. I think she'll have trouble with her later on; if I were Maddie I'd be emancipated!
I don't know what Vivi-Anne is there for. A dancer she isn't. Cathy must be blinded by mother-love to not see that.
I quite like Abbie, I think the show is extremely heavily edited and very scripted. She can't be as bad as she's being portrayed, I too think the tender bits are being edited out. I would like to have seen where she's decent to Chloe as she seems to actively dislike her just because she hates her mum.
