Yes, but in a disappointed sort of way, Rachel . For the scriptwriters to give HH instant depression (allegedly signposted by his quirky obsessions and diagnosed by an alocholic doctor) seemed so wrong. Much as I love Ric, Holby is a better place with Mr H at the helm.

Completely agree Optimist. Holby needs Mr H at the helm, and it was all too hastily done.

I love Serena and I felt sad to see last night's episode. Anyone else think that Bernie just doesn't deserve her? How wonderful to see 2 middle aged women acting out a lesbian love story on mainstream TV. Some really class acting here.

I agree about Henrik. It would have been a good storyline to see the build up too. And it's not the same without him.

Have been catching up a few weeks worth at once. Felt like Henrik just disappeared like that really. Feel all befuddled.

I've lost count of the number of times Henrik has swanned off to Sweden and then reappeared when he felt like it. He is my absolute favourite character but it does require even more suspension of disbelief than usual to accept that the hospital CEO can pop in and out at will and the board don't mind!

Hope he is back soon, though!

I was also wondering when he would finally comment on how people just burst into his office without knocking!

I was quite excited to see Ric back. I quite liked Serena and Imelda's interactions. I think her nephew will enjoy being a porter. I enjoyed the episode though think Jasmine is tres irritating. I did like her little chat with Jac on the stairs.

Jasmine irritates me too. She blunders into everything, saying the wrong thing and landing other people in trouble. Walks away and does the exact same thing again.

The little chat with Jac I liked mainly as Jac made me laugh with her talk of back stabbing. I did also like HH doing one over on Tristan with his appointment of Ric.

Knew that would happen. Evil Tristan! Hope it doesn't turn into a Zosia up for murder thing.
I hope he survives & is arrested, they rarely show rapists being convicted on these shows

I couldn't watch tonight's episode once I got the gist of it. Why?

My dad used to constantly beat my mum up from me being 2 until he died when I was 28. I was cringing.

So when Ric was in the bar talking to Jasmine and she said something that made him do a double-take, what was that about? It looked as though he was going to kick back against the financial contraints he's been placed under, and he walked off purposefully but nothing happened!

I want zosia and Ollie to get back togethe. I want drippy Gynae doc to find out about his baby and sweep Mo off her feet (not literally in her condition lol ) I am a hopeless romantic. I want more of Ric and Jac and less of Sasha and that annoying half sister of Jac's (forgotten her name) She needs to leave Ollie alone, perhaps she could hook up with Dylan's F1 in casulty. That might work.We need more Holby/Casulty story cross overs.

Good script planning there, ginger ! Yes, Jason did text to Bernie "I miss you terribly" or words to that effect (all in upper case). He's a good character but I get irritated by the ease of his employment in his aunt's department and subsequent switch to being a porter, again in her department - it's like the way people can leave without working their notice, which Holby scriptwriters are always doing. Yes to more Ric, Jac and as far as I'm concerned Sasha can stay but Essie should go and he should resign himself to being a bachelor. I don't feel strongly about Zosia/Ollie or Mo/Mr T, so I'll leave their fate to you!

I think Mo is going to have complications with the birth. There will be some kind of emergency and Mr T will step in as it will happen while she is working as they all seem to work up until the day they give birth. Mr T will end up delivering his own baby and not know. The baby will need some care and Mr T will find out the baby is his as he has an unusual blood group and so has the baby! What do we think?
Or she will go into labour on his wedding day (is she still best person?) preventing Mr T from getting married. His horrible fiance will see just how much Mr T still loves her and will not go through with it.

The birth complications would work well, ginger - perhaps when baby is safely born it could bear an undeniable resemblance to Mr T??

Pretty much the scenario I was thinking & these things are fairly predictable.
I want Jonny to come back & Mo & Mr T to finally get together.
Jac's sister is an awful character. Hope she's leaving soon
