I am done with it now. It's got really old all of a sudden. You know what they are going to say before they say it.

My DH went off it at the beginning of this series and even I (who LOVES it) am getting a tad bored of it. It has got predictable and so much of what they say I think they've been told to say it. I don't actually know anyone who reacts that much while watching tv.

Ok that northern family 2 sons and 2 dogs. They have cakes on their footrest and the dad constantly puts his dirty shows up right near the food it's driving me insane.

I love Giles and Mary, caravan, Leon and June (AWOL recently?)

All the new people are shit, the two northern girls rarely say anything amusing, the Welsh couple are boring, the kooky looking family with the son with Tourette's are also boring. I think that's where the problem lies.

Never understood how they can say so much while watching the programmes, it's simply not possible to speak and hear everything. Agree it's run its course now.

I say to my kids that we'd be a rubbish family on it as it would just be me going 'ssshhh' if anyone said anything!

I love Giles and Mary too. One of my favourite bits ever was Mary saying how she wanted her ashes scattered in Waitrose.

I don't know what is being said about Scarlett, but I like her. She's funny.

Another Giles and Mary fan, everything he says makes me laugh I never know if he's being serious or not and how he finishes every sentence by saying 'isn't it Mary?' Or similar!

and when Giles said he would have people for dinner to have their home grown veg, and basically all it would be is courgette! Giles remind me of my departed dad a bit

I like all of the families at the moment and am still enjoying the show. It's the only programme that can reliably make me laugh out loud at the moment.

I too haven't a clue what is being said about Scarlett as she doesn't appear to have made it on to radio 4 but I think she's great - quick-witted, insightful and compassionate.
