I'm really hoping Rafa can have a better year, and of course there is a wee Murray on the way . (Might not be a fan of Andy, but babies are always good news).

Have read that Nigel was asking for a TV in hosptal so he could watch the rest of Anna's match - which sounds good.

The Djokovic/Simon match looked like it was a good one. Such a shame Simon couldn't win it.
Nishikori is through- I was hoping Jo-Willy would get that one.
Berdych didn't have it easy either.
And I've just read that Nigel has been given the all clear to fly home- so that will be good news for his family.

Watching the Federer /Goffin match- Gof not much of a match for Roger. Commentators seem obsessed by trying to work out what Ljubicic has done for his game- in the few weeks he has been his coach.

I miss Stefan.

Ljubicic was Raonic's coach up until recently - I'm hoping Moya can bring something to his game. I like Raonic.

Haven't been able to watch much of this so far - we have Eurosport but it's on at inconvenient times! I did catch the end of Djokovic's match today - hoped for an upset but it as not to be! I'll be cheering on Konta tomorrow, would be brilliant if she got to the quarters.

Pot is training hard with a view to come back. He definitely wants it but whether he can do it is another thing altogether.

Simon v Djokovic looked like a good match - only saw bbc highlights. I love Simon so glad he did himself proud.

Think (and hope) Djokovic will have not much trouble putting Kei away.

Torn by the Stan /Milos match. I want Stan to win, but won't be unhappy if Raonic does- he's better than his current ranking, so was always a big threat.

I hope Djok beats Nish- he is a player who I have never warmed to. don't know why.

Just started watching Konta's match - should get to watch about half an hour before I have to go to work! She's made a good start.

The Stan/milos match is really good- Raonic with the break in the 5th, but some amazing shots from both. I think Raonic often gets dismissed as being all about the big serve, but he has a much more rounded game than that.

Sad to see Stan go out but raonic deserved that he played great. Love that Monfils went through too.

I am having a horrible day. Have a miserable cold, and just got a migraine. DH can't come home to look after me because he got knocked off his bike this morning on the way to work. He's ok, but his bike isn't. And he has to give a statement to the police at 4pm. I've got a 3 year old and a 1 year old to look after and no-one who can come to help out. I just want to sleep. And there are people in the house fixing our creaky floor so that will make a lot of noise too. The lounge is directly underneath the room they're fixing so I can't even lie down on the sofa to try to sleep. And I can't remember if that's the correct spelling of Lie for this situation, which is embarrassing for a former copy-editor. Woe is me and all that.
