Oh and I also agree with ppeat - last night was basically Glebs show dance wasn't it? And all about him. I don't think he did Anita any favours last night.

I saw the spoiler this aft on Instagram comments. I've managed to get to semi final week without realising such thing existed. Now I'm bloody irritated.

I missed last night, no access to iPlayer so have caught up with YouTube & the Guardian's live blog. Don't want to read the thread, well, cos.

Kellie & Kevin have no chemistry.
The marking seemed a bit bonkers.
Gleb is doing Anita no favours.
Thought Jay was v good and I flipping hate the Charleston (and am not too fond of Aliona)

Thanks Thursday I've had enough of Gleb's sweaty (or oiled up) pecs and self satisfied smile. If he's instrumental in making Anita loose I'll rip his matador's jacket up .

Agree that Gleb didn't do Anita any favours last night - I really don't like him, think he is a very selfish dancer, as Craig said about something they did 'if you can't do it - leave it out' - he's there to make Anita shine and give her the best experience, not show up her weaknesses - I don't get any joy from her in her dancing, it all seems like a massive slog and 'not disappointing Gleb' - it's not about him!

I like her as a person and on that would like to see her in the final, (Not at the expense of jay obv. !!) but if she's there God knows what Gleb will make her do for her show dance.

Haven't read up thread because I saw some had posted that another person had put spoilers - that's mean, why would someone do that ??

I think the two dances threw them all a bit, but on last night performances, I'd say Jay and Kellie definitely deserve a final place, and possibly Georgia (although I nodded off slightly in her VW) Felt sorry for Katie in her Charleston because clearly Anton can't do a Charleston either -so what hope did she have?

Never thought I'd say it, but I really missed Helen last night !

Oh and Jay had better get through - it's my birthday today and I don't want it ruined !!

I'm really annoyed, dh & I are both working next Sat. We will watch Sun but I've got to get through without spoilers and I can't vote

You're sooooo right about Gleb not supporting Anita, I loved len saying she takes an intellectual attitude to the dances (i don't think I've ever heard that word on Strictly)!

Am I the only one who likes Gleb then? And it's not about fancying him either (well maybe it is a bit). But Anita seems to like him, they get along fine enough. Believe me there have been a few couples who loathed each other, Brendan and Lulu being the most recent ones and its been glaringly obvious.

And he has really helped Anita to be the dancer that she is. He's cheoreography is amazing.

Glitteryrollers - you are definitely not the only one who likes Gleb- he is very popular I think - just not my cup of tea at all, - I think he is one of those love him or hate him types perhaps

And it's always hard in their first year as a pro - especially when the presenters ram the 'isn't he handsome' thing down your throat. I remember them doing that with Alijaz - and his first year I didn't like him either - but I think he's really nice now.

Yes, Alijaz is lovely. Don't find him remotely attractive though.

I think sometimes as well it depends on who they are paired with. Ola Jordan came across really well when paired with Chris Hollins and Robbie Savage, but at other times I find her quite vacuous.

I agree. Alijaz was beautiful but dull with Abbey but once he was sending himself up and giving Alison Hammond the time of her life I fell for him like a ton of bricks.

Abbey was beautiful but dull though wasn't she? The best pro's will always adapt to the people they are paired with.

I miss the lovely Tristan too, someone on Digital Spy said that when he and Jamelia come back on the last show, they should quickstep past the judges whilst flicking them the V's.
