I would like a bit more transparency on how the voting works. At the end of last night they indicate 5,4,3,2,1 points from the judges votes. Does this mean that the public votes are all totted up and ordered and another 5,4,3,2,1, points added? Or are there different weights applied to the public and judges points?

I do NOT believe the "in no particular order..." announcement. I've said before "they're making a TV show" - not that I'm suggesting a fix or rigged, but there's lots of ways they can present and edit to tell a certain story.

Costumes were dire this week - ribbons and beads that got in the way, very unflattering drop waists and a nightie for Georgia.
And please stop the dry ice effects hiding the dancers feet!

What is with the drop waists for nearly every dance - I'm not a dressmaker but wouldn't it have been more flattering for kellie if her dress stopped at her waist then flared out, rather than flaring on the hips and highlighting how square she is...

I wonder if they'll get Jay to do his quickstep again since he fluffed it so badly and wouldn't they want one Latin and one Ballroom?

Hope we get to see Georgia's Charleston again, Katie's VW, Anita's paso (although maybe that wouldn't work so well without the extra dancers?), and Kellie's jive.

I till am shocked that no-one has yet got a40. I don't think there's a clear top three like in previous years.
I didn't have a favourite this year so have voted purely on the dances each week and who I think deserves to stay. It's time for Katie to go, but I have a feeling the public want Anton in the final too much? I couldn't say who I think will win. Early on I would have said Jay, but don't think he's lived up to the jive as much as I expected.

Why are they dressing the men so casually? Glen had a beautiful suit but Jay for the second week looked like a farm worker? Not even a farm worker in sequins ???

I definitely agree with doing away with the dry ice. I think is important to see the footwork. I feel that Anton's non-ballroom choreography lets Katie down.

If you feel the need to post a spoiler please do it by creating another thread. It's really unfair to spoil it for the people posting on the scd threads.

I post in other threads sometimes, but am a lurker on this one. I watched SCD on catch up last night, so only caught up with this thread this morning. Was enjoying reading what other people had thought of the dances, and then came across that post. I'm really pissed off. It won't be the same watching the Results Show now, knowing half the story already.

I thought Anton's/the producers' use of dry ice to hide Katie's feet was the last refuge of the desperate.

Dance off will be interesting because unless it's an absolute no brainer like Katie vs Kellie, there's a few dances with scope for improvement and several with scope for catastrophic screw ups. Anyone from the top 3 would surely send either of the bottom 2 home because there's a huge gulf in fundamental dance quality, but any other combination would genuinely depend on the dance off performance. Jay's Charleston could certainly knock out Georgia and Kellie if done perfectly, Katie could do a less wobbly run on her Waltz if given an hour's recovery time, or Georgia could totally run out of energy if asked to do a third dance, Kellie could plough her assisted jumps, Anita could end up in casualty.
