Forgive my ignorance on the subject but didn't Anna have a cervical stitch? Who removed it and when?

Carson probably fixed for her, between dinner courses...

I'd imagine Mary got busy with her nail scissors?

It looks as if nowadays it's removed at about 37 weeks, but clearly Anna shouldn't have been working after that point. I do seem to remember Mary's gyno telling Anna something about the stitch removal that wasn't 'DIY'.

Well exactly trib, I was expecting all sorts of complications but it all seems to have gone very smoothly!

I did like it when Patricia Hodge said "what I call" at one point.

And yes - wouldn't the cervical stitch need removal?

I've just managed to watch this. It was all very twee and tied up in a sentimental bow. Has Rose, the only character with a bit of rebel in her had a lobotomy?
