On Netflix, series 5? Or is it just me?

No I assume that's the next episode. We also haven't seen how Excalibur ends up in the stone again. So I'm assuming that the Charmings/Regina have something to do with that.

I've lost track of Excalibur, can't even work out when Merlin was/wasn't a tree.

Nimue made merlin a tree. There seem to have been lots of dark ones after her so presumably it was for a very long time. Emma let him out a few weeks ago.

So what was happening to Merlin when the sword was remade? And how did Hook get Dark One-ified before the sword was remade?

I didn't quite understand that either. May have to re watch it.

Yes, I think we can safely skip the second episode, the only real points there seemed to be who killed Merida's dad and Mulan seems to have gone through an existential crisis but now is okay.

The first episode was incredibly confusing, I could not work out how pregnant Zelena was meant to be at any point.

Oh btw I wonder if it's Arthur who puts the memory spell on everyone, he has already done it to Guinevere and the Charmings?

I think it is Emma who took the memories, it seems to be the point of all the dreamcatchers. I'm sure Arthur has something to do with it all though.

Or Zelena? I can't work out if she's in the 'current day' bit - did she have her baby in the current day? She seems to have lost and gained her power several times.

There's definitely a lot of answers required in terms of how they got from where we last saw them (i.e. Zelena free and angry) to back in Storybrook.

Zelena had her baby in the current day, rather than in Camelot. Somehow she needs to be re-captured and her magic re-bound before they get to the present day. Likewise Arthur's got to be back with them, and the sword/dagger re-broken.

It has to be Emma behind the memory-wipe though, as part of her somewhat bloodthirsty plan to save Hook. Not sure who would have been responsible for re-breaking the sword... Merlin perhaps?

Watching on YouTube, don't have Netflix (didnt really see the point as there wasn't anything I wanted to watch until now!)

We don't know how they all got back either. Did they get a bean? A cyclone? Someone would have needed to take a heart to enact the dark curse? It seems to be easier to travel between worlds than the writers would have us believe.

Have just binge watched the available season five episodes on Netflix. I tried watching them weekly, but the first few episodes were a bit slow, plus they jump around so often that it got confusing.

I've enjoyed the Dark Swan and Camelot storylines, although like I said it jumps about a bit much for me and I do get frustrated by mysteries so I'm looking forward to them bringing this one to a close. Have loved the Merida stuff, especially teaming up with Mulan and even bringing Ruby in. I think for me that's what OUAT does well; taking well known characters (from folklore or Disney/Pixar) and having fun with them.

Yes, up-to-date, that seemed to make a lot more sense that previous episodes!

Yes, explained a lot more. Doesn't really explain why Emma acted so upset at the beginning of the series accusing them all of betrayal etc though.

Why does Dark Swann speak all slowly and deeply as if she's Margaret Thatcher - I find it really weird.

Absolutely love OUAT but I get so confused if I think too deeply about the storylines - I probably enjoy it on a superficial level!

I hate Dark Emma's voice too. I have now got lots of questions that I hope will be answered in the next episode.

Has anyone else seen this week's episode? I've watched a lot of Grey's Anatomy lately, and am 30 weeks pregnant, war clearly in far too emotional a place to have watched that rollercoaster of heartache.

Yes. Was a bit confused by the end of it to be honest.

I was totally confused too. Had to watch it again.

Which part? A lot seemed to happen in the last 5-10 minutes.

In a way I'm glad that Rumple went dark again - couldn't see what they were going to do with him as a hero - but don't see how he's expecting to keep it from Belle when pretty much everyone else in town knows.

I had a real moment of thinking it was the actual end of Hook, which I was not ok with, but I like the parallels between Charming and Snow always finding one another, and now Emma being on a journey to find Hook. I'm not entirely sure how they're going to do that; is everyone going? Or just Emma? I can't imagine Snow and Charming would leave Neal, nor Regina and Robin leave the baby and Roland, and taking Henry to Hell seems out of character for his mums.

And where the heck are Mulan, Red and Merida? I had figured their episode was a precursor of their returning in a big dramatic way, but that's not been the case. Plus what happened to Arthur? I can't really remember last week's episode; was Arthur dealt with?

Yes I want to know about Arthur? Are they all going off to the Underworld? Who is looking after the babies/Roland?! And it seems remarkably easy to make oneself a Dark One now. Where did the dagger come from?

So what's next?

A family trip to Hades??!!
