A week Friday.

I am ridiculously excited. Grin

I've been watching the repeats on E4 for weeks and actually squeeed when I saw the ad for the new season.

How sad am I?

I couldn't get on here ladt night, but I knew those new girls would be ripped to shreds. They are playing up to the camera more than Sandy and Sandra. The blonde one looks familiar though, I'm sure I have seen her on something. I was also particularly amused by the something out of a book comment.

The UKIPers have become more annoying. I guess Steph and Dom won't be back after he did the skiing show.

I love gogglebox though. Particularly the Siddiquis, the hairdressers and the Moffats.

NoahVale · 12/09/2015 08:58

I missed the beginning,
I do like the Siddiques, They Should give them TB and syphilis Grin to be more realistic.

that's about all, Oh I like Giles and Mary.
HAve Dom and Steph gone? Sad

Haggisfish · 12/09/2015 09:50

I think dom and stef were on the opening titles so am sure they will be back.

Mrsjayy · 12/09/2015 10:37

Im sure Steph and Dom will be back although they are doing a chatshow i read somewhere. I love giles and Mary i was meh about them before mary always looks freezing though. I take it Mr ukip didnt get his seat and thats why they are back? The new girls will settle down I think. Why have they only got English people id love if they did all of Britain

Mrsjayy · 12/09/2015 10:40

Oh we howled at them watching the penis chat Scarlets face Grin

Lilaclily · 12/09/2015 19:55

I quite liked the two new girls
Did miss steph and Dom though

AimlesslyPurposeful · 12/09/2015 20:26

Siddiquis are great! Wish they were on more.

Giles and Mary are quite funny together. Not sure if Giles is really like that or in character though.

Scarlet Moffatt is sharp as a tack and I love her observations.

Really really dislike Vicar Kate. She's just loathesome and so self important. Her husband doesn't even bother to speak now - no point, she just disagrees and shouts him down. I'm not the least bit surprised he wouldn't remarry if she died. Once bitten, twice shy.

Also can't bear Leon. I cringe for June as he starts salivating when anything so much as a bare female ankle appears on screen.

BishopBrennansArse · 12/09/2015 20:43

They didn't show the kippers' views on the refugee crisis. Wonder why not? Hmm

SheldonsSpotOnTheCouch · 12/09/2015 23:02

I was waiting to hear their views on that too, Bishop. I'm surprised they were brought back; I don't think they were particularly missed. They don't bring much to the programme.

RomComPhooey · 12/09/2015 23:06

Their son's reactions to things are funny.

Yamayo · 13/09/2015 10:31

All Leon can talk about is food and bosoms. Hmm

Was anyone surprised at Sandra's weight? I thought she would weigh more than 17.5 stone.

thunderbird69 · 13/09/2015 12:12

Love this programme! Makes me genuinely laugh out loud and usually leaves me with a warm fuzzy feeling.

I like most of them, but the vicar is just annoying and Leon is sleazy. I think the hairdressers are my favourites but starting to really like Giles with his deadpan delivery' Siddiquis are very witty and seem lovely, not enough of them.

thunderbird69 · 13/09/2015 12:13

I mean they don't feature enough in the programme, not that there should be more in the family!

sexybeast · 13/09/2015 13:59

Giles is definitely my favourite - I really laugh at his strange ponderings.

DriverSurpriseMe · 13/09/2015 14:58

Heh, I know what you mean, but I think she actually has a weird body shape with narrow hips and comparatively thin legs. Like an inverted triangle!

NoahVale · 13/09/2015 18:52

I heard the hairdressers are no longer together, so that must be awkward

Sansoora · 13/09/2015 18:56

They haven't been for quite some time now, at least the last two series, but they are still very good friends.

Sansoora · 13/09/2015 18:57

Re Sandra - she's just kind of exploded across the screen. Her health must be at risk and I wish someone would say something to her.

luckiestgirlintheworld · 13/09/2015 19:02

Can I ask a question...

I'm about to watch the new gogglebox but haven't seen the most recent Bake Off yet... Does it tell you who leaves? (If so I'll fast forward that bit)

Thanks!

RedMapleLeaf · 13/09/2015 19:06

sansoora say something to her about what? If you mean tell her that she's overweight, they don't need to. She'll have spotted this herself.

squoosh · 13/09/2015 19:06

Mr 'Mary, mary' is fast becoming one of my faves.

Sansoora · 13/09/2015 19:43

What a strange reply and absolutely nothing to do with what I was thinking.

Are you overweight? Is that why you are so touchy?

RedMapleLeaf · 13/09/2015 19:45

I did say, "if"! What do you think needs explaining to her?

(I'm not sure what my weight has to do with this).

Sansoora · 13/09/2015 19:56

Red, your reply was quite sarcastic but then I think you already know that.

As for anything else. A big deal is made of what her and her pal eat during the show and all the more so because her pal appears to be of the 'can eat anything and not gain weight' kind of person. I wish someone would say - look it may be part of your act but this eating its not good for your health so perhaps we can bring in some changes and make it part of the programme for you own good.

Or perhaps people get a kick/good laugh out of seeing her get larger with each series?
