...prompted by Hearts- here is the first thread of the year. It's traditional, innit. Even if this year, I am finding it very hard to get enthused. Grin

So- what do we think of the new judges?
Are we happy they have got rid of the room auditions? -no--
What ubiquitous song will the acts sing in the auditions?
Will we miss Dermot dancing? Or will Strictly winner Caroline do the honours probably

It's all in the ARENA this year- apparently with props, and whatever else the acts want to bring along. Maybe even a tune, if we are lucky. It is going more and more BGT.

So, Autumn is now officially on it's way, it's nearly time for the Christmas John Lewis ad...

are we ready to face the music? Grin

Is that a manacle or a handbag?

Squooshed · 30/08/2015 20:39

Has Grimshaw said anything yet? He's a meek little thing.

nancy75 · 30/08/2015 20:39

I'm seeing Darius singing Britney, but with more feather and pleather

BitOfFun · 30/08/2015 20:39

I'd cast him as Marius in Les Mis.

Bananaapplegrape · 30/08/2015 20:39

And now he's basically waving the road kill around Hmm

Raahh · 30/08/2015 20:39

Clearly, he got carried awy by Australia being allowed on Eurovision.

Flesh hangover ain't a good look. That skirt is too tight.

Squooshed · 30/08/2015 20:40

I'd love for someone to unplug the sound system and say 'the show doesn't have to go on actually. Bugger off'.

NoisyBrain · 30/08/2015 20:40

Good point Dino
Though he's overdone this song now, which is quite a feat imo.

BitOfFun · 30/08/2015 20:40

Squoosh Grin

Bananaapplegrape · 30/08/2015 20:40

ANOTHER standing ovation? Fuck me sit the fuck down!

Raahh · 30/08/2015 20:41

meh.

If he was really any good, he would at least have been on the stage somewhere by now.

OP posts:
BitOfFun · 30/08/2015 20:41

Aw. I liked him.

Squooshed · 30/08/2015 20:41

Every time Simon stands up and shows off his weirdly short torso I'm reminded of Lord Farquaad from Shrek.

HoneyDragon · 30/08/2015 20:41

Feather and Pleather?

Is that like Farrow and Ball for Lidl aficionados?

NoisyBrain · 30/08/2015 20:41

Cheryl was 'literally spellbound'. Fuck me, the bloke's a transvestite not a wizard!

Bananaapplegrape · 30/08/2015 20:42

The wardrobe peeps will have a field day with him if he makes it to live shows :D

BitOfFun · 30/08/2015 20:42

Fearless, sharp, sassy...can you think of any more gay words, Chezza?

Squooshed · 30/08/2015 20:42

Feather, pleather and lucky white heather.

Raahh · 30/08/2015 20:43

He has clearly spent a long time in the States, trying to make it big. Only his 'act' is pretty well covered over there. So he is trying here. I bet the only family he has here is a distant cousin. Grin

Squooshed · 30/08/2015 20:43

Sean(n) does have a pleasingly symmetric face

Matilda2013 · 30/08/2015 20:43

Oh I love this thread. 3,804 yesses is that a drinking game moment too??

BitOfFun · 30/08/2015 20:43

Well Rylan did alright out of it, so it's a fair strategy. Let's see.

nancy75 · 30/08/2015 20:43

Feather & pleather - we'll all have it on by christmas Grin

Bananaapplegrape · 30/08/2015 20:44

Matilda... At this stage drinking is more important than breathing...
