X FACTOR 2015! New Series starts this weekend -SAT 29th/SUN 30th 8.00pm

...prompted by Hearts- here is the first thread of the year. It's traditional, innit. Even if this year, I am finding it very hard to get enthused. Grin

So- what do we think of the new judges?
Are we happy they have got rid of the room auditions? -no--
What ubiquitous song will the acts sing in the auditions?
Will we miss Dermot dancing? Or will Strictly winner Caroline do the honours probably

It's all in the ARENA this year- apparently with props, and whatever else the acts want to bring along. Maybe even a tune, if we are lucky. It is going more and more BGT.

So, Autumn is now officially on it's way, it's nearly time for the Christmas John Lewis ad...

are we ready to face the music? Grin

That's what I mean Raahh take away the flashy stuff and the singing wasn't great, I don't think they would have done well in an audition.

nancy- exactly, they 'gave it their all' and all that shizzle. And they have put through No Limits woman. Grin

Mind you, it is probably not shown in the order that the judges actually seen.

Raahh, they'd probably be a bit crap with just the room auditions, but then, the room auditions gave us Sam Bailey, who bless her, was never going to have a long career in the charts and filling stadiums, although had "loose woman" or "This Morning small slot presenter" look about her...

And if they can't do it without gimmicks they aren't making it through bootcamp...

I must say as well, the groups is always a crap category, the few groups that make it towards the end won't be the ones that audition as a group, but the various collections of "can sing and is good looking wihtout being stunning, but isn't a star in their own right" they've put together from the rejects of the 'girls' 'boys' and 'overs'...
