I've just watched Extra Slice and am all caught up.
I'm dieting and save a treat for GBBO. Week 1 was French Fancy, week 2 Viennese Whirl (bought obvs).

Is 7UP a thing for stomach upsets Confused

Icimoi · 15/08/2015 13:52

I was surprised they brought back Rosemary Schrager on Extra Slice - last time it was blatantly obvious that Jo Brand didn't like her. Though she was a bit better this time.

squoosh · 15/08/2015 13:57

I'm Ireland flat 7UP is believed to cure all ills.

Davros · 17/08/2015 18:02

I went to the Cereal Killer Cafe today and Stu was not there!

ppeatfruit · 17/08/2015 18:04

Actually I didn't like Rosemary Shrager either Ici. Grin

Trills · 17/08/2015 20:34

I walked past the Cereal Killer cafe last week on the way to a course and thought oh, that's where this is.

Until then it had only existed on the internet, but now I properly believe it is made of bricks and mortar.

ppeatfruit · 18/08/2015 09:28

What was on it's menu? Davros and Trills

Davros · 18/08/2015 10:04

Cereals, lots of 'em! A huge amount of varieties, mostly American I think. It's silly but it's quite fun and done well. I went to the Camden one which has plenty of space. The three young kids we were with loved it. There are beds with tables inbetween where you can sit, lots of Formica tables, Huygens QA counter (if I'm not mistaken) and lots of cereal memorabilia. I loved Tony the Tiger when I was a kid and he was everywhere. It's amazing what you can do with the stuff no one wanted! I'm not sure most people would go there more than once, I would take visitors maybe.

Piratejones · 18/08/2015 12:41

I'm very late watching these, I came here to see if anyone else thought Sandy was Victoria Woods double, turns out I'm not the only one.

ppeatfruit · 18/08/2015 15:12

Interesting name, only the Americans would think it was complimentary!

Trills · 18/08/2015 23:32

only the Americans would think it was complimentary

I think silly puns are a very British thing - like a hairdresser being called Curl up and Dye.

TheRealNotSoSlimThrowsShady · 19/08/2015 13:00

Tis a good job I like Mary Berry. She accidentally revealed who is going tonight on Chris Evans radio.
Do avoid the daily fail, they did not add Spoiler until later serves me right for stooping so low

GetTheFudgeOutOfRodge · 19/08/2015 17:36

Shock Well that's a bit crap, Slim!
I'm going to avoid socia media now as there's always that one person who will say who it is to be a twat.
I bet Mary had been on the gin before going on the show. You know what she's like.

Roussette · 19/08/2015 18:43

Thanks for the warning, I'm avoiding reading anything that might give it away!

Here we go - bread week. I bloody love bread. Grin

(is anyone finding MN interminably slow? Wonder if it was because of the problems... pages taking forever to load...)

wankerchief · 19/08/2015 20:03

I just sprinted home from the park with the dogs, forgot bake off was on

I might pass out.

wankerchief · 19/08/2015 20:05

Mats sound really good

GetTheFudgeOutOfRodge · 19/08/2015 20:06

Smoked sat and Mexican cheese bread! Omg that sounds heavenly

Roussette · 19/08/2015 20:07

Thought you'd left the dogs in the park there for a minute Grin

Evening all

God these breads sound delicious

Picklesauage · 19/08/2015 20:09

Prison Paul looks nervous!

Emochild · 19/08/2015 20:10

who should you support?

Apparently I should be supporting Matt -I like Matt

Prison Paul I expect will be good at bread but that recipe doesn't sound right

wankerchief · 19/08/2015 20:12

The dogs jogged along side me, they were alarmed at first as I usually amble along at best.
The jack Russell actually looked around for danger and barked wherefore following me.

Not sure on prison Paul's.
