Monday I get to go see my PFBGC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much excitement - I am FIZZZZZZZZZING!!

Raahh · 10/07/2015 21:47

oh, Magi that is very exciting.

Roger will win. Or not. One of them will, anyway.

But you will have a squishy baby to cuddle, which is far more importantGrin

KatieScarlettreregged · 10/07/2015 21:53

Oh how lovely magi
Congratulations on becoming a granny, I'm totally jealous.
Flowers

magimedi · 10/07/2015 22:18

She will be nearly 8 weeks old - DIL & DS live 'foreign' - I have been waiting (not very) patiently for this moment.

She will be the birthday present to top all others - as I have a big 0 birthday whilst visiting.

And DH & I have a big 0 wedding anniversary while we are there.........

If you think Wimbledon finals are exciting........................... think again!!

2015 will be going down as the year of years in the Magi household!

magimedi · 10/07/2015 22:18

But, I am still vvvvvv excited for Sunday - Roger to win!!

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 10/07/2015 22:22

Yay!!! Roger to win!!!!

Enjoy your trip to see your granddaughter magi!

KatieScarlettreregged · 10/07/2015 22:24

Oh that's wonderful!
Happy birthday and anniversary when they come Grin
Little baby girl, she's going to be the best surprise ever xxx

Raahh · 10/07/2015 22:41

Aww pushes back broody thoughts by stroking dog

remembers can't have any more babies anyway

I have been watching bits of the match I missed. Has this been the most one-sided, dull semi finals for a while? There were some good bits, but the outcome was never in doubt really was it? I hope the final is a good one, and although I'm marginally more team Fed (purely for Stefan), I don't actually mind who wins.

DramaAlpaca · 10/07/2015 22:50

magi have a wonderful time getting you know your new granddaughter, and enjoy your birthday & wedding anniversaries Flowers Cake Wine

I was disappointed that Murray lost today, but kudos to Federer - he was amazing. I'm looking forward to watching a really good match on Sunday, and I'm hoping Federer wins.

Mugurutha (sp?) to beat Serena tomorrow. Hopefully.

Raahh · 10/07/2015 22:52

Ooh, yes- Vamos Garbine!!

MajesticWhine · 10/07/2015 22:57

Ah, have a lovely time with the new baby magi

AvaCrowder · 11/07/2015 00:13

Late to the party, I would like Williams to win. I like her tennis a lot. I like both of the men. My dh looks like Djokovic. I went off a Federer a bit but he is playing so well and has looked so cool. I want to watch that game.

Have a lovely time in Forrin with your new dgc!

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 11/07/2015 09:48

magimedi I wondered what that excited fizzing noise was; now I know! Roll on Monday!

Meanwhile enjoy the tennis everyone. Grin

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 11/07/2015 11:00

magi you lucky devil with a brand new baby to cuddle and spoil. And all your other celebrations too! Have a great time in forrin.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 11/07/2015 11:41

BBC website on the "order of play" page says that the women's singles final starts at 14:00 but elsewhere it says 13:00 - anyone know which one is correct?

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 11/07/2015 11:45

OK the Wimbledon website itself says Centre Court at 14:00 for the women's final.

BBC coverage must start at 13:00. Other matches on other courts start at 13:00.

Google is your friend Grin

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 11/07/2015 11:46

I am talking to myself la la la la la la la la la la la la lalalala lala laaaaaa

magimedi · 11/07/2015 11:55

First sign of madness - Grin

Come On - Garbine!!

KatieScarlettreregged · 11/07/2015 11:56

Sorry, I'm here, just fighting the good fight on another thread.
How's everyone this fine finals day?
Yes, it's an hour of BBC filler before the game. Fine if you like that sort of thing but not for me.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 11/07/2015 12:02

Hi Grin I was just trying to be funny Grin

First sign of madness magi? I can't even see it in the rear view mirror Grin

It was looking like it was going to be hot and steamy today but it has clouded over a bit and there is a nice breeze. Probably similar south of the river.

magimedi · 11/07/2015 12:19

Having just made bed & turned mattress I am a pool of sweat!!

I don't think I can take one hour of blether - but I wonder how many times Andy will be mentioned??

I go for 27!

ChessieFL · 11/07/2015 12:51

Bahrain and Leconte on red button if you don't want the bbc filler!

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 11/07/2015 13:32

I am enjoying the filler because I know zilch about Murguruza (sp?)

They are saying she is a "Venezuelan Spaniard". Which is it? Venezuela or Spain? FFS.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 11/07/2015 13:33

I am already sick of the words "Serena Slam"

GrouchyKiwi · 11/07/2015 13:34

Her dad is Spanish and her mum Venezuelan but she moved to Spain for tennis. I think she identifies as Spanish for sport.
