I felt like that when Rafa first went out early. Not reasonable to only like one player, so you have to get interested and transfer your loyalties so to speak.

Sometimes it does feel very flat, is that because there aren't the characters we have known still playing ? Or no-one we like ? Dunno.

I think with the likes of Rafa and Roger, and players like Ferrer etc we have been very spoilt with tennis players.

We might have to get used to it being slightly meh.

Where's the Bahrami/Leconte v. Castle/Tarango match gone?

Losing his temper shows he feels emotion on court. Should show happy emotion might make more people like him ?!

That stare is I think because of his lenses. His eyes can get very dry and he's trying to get liquid moving in his eyes. Blinking doesn't always do it. (fellow lens wearer)

Can't believe that that they didn't put it on Centre.

Not too fussy about Sunday. Not crazy for either of them. But will probably be team Djok. I like the idea of a newly embroidered cardigan having to be hastily stuffed back in the cupboard.

I don't like Djokovic, because I thought it was incredibly disrespectful to the game and his opponents, when he used to retire in big matches. I lost a lot of respect for Justine Henin after she did the same, in the Australian Open final against Amelie Mauresmo.

I also used to hate his family, with their tracksuits with Nole and their over the top cheering. Honestly, they were as bad as those Aussie Fanatics! Thankfully, you don't see much of them any more.

In addition, he is petty: he can't take a joke against himself, although he loved mimicking lots of other players, and he can't stand it when he's not the crowd favourite.

But he has a very good game technically and a great work ethic. I respect the single-minded determination he's shown to become the no. 1.

Aargh I've fallen off all the threads. Missed a lot of tennis this week.
