I've sky plussed the series. I've just watched episode5 and was emotional over the Carly meeting. So sweet of them to give them some of Carly's baby stuff.

Farah reminds me of Brandi Glanville. She is very immature and uses extremes of emotions to tantrum and get her own way. Her defaults are pissed off, mean attacks, rage and if that all fails the waterworks start. She doesn't seem to have functional relationships with anyone, has she got any friends? Where is her sister?

Whats everyone's opinion on Dr drew - don't know much about him in the UK?

Dr Drew infuriates me Angel! I always think he doesn't treat everyone equally on the reunion shows and is especially hard on the girls and puts most of the onus on them for getting pregnant.
Ryan's obnoxious behaviour (clearly troubling his parents and well as Maci) wasn't really addressed, instead he talked about the pair's communication issues wing the problem. He was similar in his treatment of Adam from TM2.
Also on TM2 a few series ago,I remember he was particularly hard on Kailyn, basically siding with Joe. I can't remember the particulars now.

He seems to be well known in the U.S. For reality therapy type shows. Although I read there is controversy around his as several of his guests have ended up committing suicide.

I don't get a good vibe off him & that's why I asked.He does seem to pick more on certain people & ask very sensitive questions.

The only thing that isn't clear (at least for me) is what happened with Farrah - know she had a sex tape released with someone (consented?) but has she done things since? Would goole but I'm no good at it!

He gives me the creeps too, I also think I read he is an ex addict himself which I think is why he seems to take a soft approach to Amber, Jenelle etc.
I did a bit of googling in him before as I thought it odd how more of the girls don't call him out on it
Farrah's sex tape was consensual afaik and I think she propositioned Charlie Sheen to make one with her during his meltdown?! I watched this other MTV programme about her (I'm not an obsessive just on Mat leave lol) and she said something about making her own range of sex toys and working generally in the adult entertainment industry

I think he went too hard on Amber but seemed to not bother with Gary!
IMO Gary needs to leave Amber alone - all the texts,calls & tickle flirting was awful ,so confusing for Amber & embarrassing for Kristina.

Was also wondering if any of the couples work (except Maci & caitlin )- or are they comfortably living off their money off mtv with book promotions etc ? Farrah does a lot of travelling & twice weve seen her out to dinner with sophia & the poor little girl is falling asleep on the table!

Yes Angel he always seem to gloss over the fathers' dubious behaviours! Gary also creeps me out and nobody makes much of his weird relationship with Christina (?) and the way he says he's with her so she'll look after his child and they were talking about how they didn't really want their baby etc or him continually calling up Amber.

I thought the money was put aside for the kids to 'keep it real' but they also make money from magazine spreads etc, but not so sure now. The Original Girls series made it more obvious about their fame and money from the show but then the likes of Leah in TM2 was always going on about money problems, not being about to afford stuff for the sick twin etc.
Also most of them seem a bit feckless, not finishing college or doing much else as they are probably too caught up in the fame side of things.
