I liked the train one and Sheridan Smith one the best, call centre was good too. I though last night's was weaker, although still enjoyed it. The gran was just like my grandma used to be, she would often say 'isn't he comical'.

chocolatelife · 24/04/2015 16:54

yes it was good last night.
countdown,
one from the bottom

KenDoddsDadsDog · 24/04/2015 17:00

Looking forward to watching

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/04/2015 21:47

Granny's party a bit weird.

Obv has been on so will discuss .........

So mum found out and left hubby and gran who was choking recovered with a naked man :)

TheHoundsBitch · 24/04/2015 21:52

I was thinking all the way through "this isn't as good as usual", I absolutely howled at the ending Grin

KenDoddsDadsDog · 24/04/2015 22:15

Similar to the party episode in the last series , also not the finest episode .

KenDoddsDadsDog · 25/04/2015 08:36

Can't wait for this

Ooh, that looks exciting Ken!

angelos02 · 25/04/2015 10:39

I think they think they are cleverer script writers than they actually are.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 25/04/2015 12:43

You have a bit of an issue with them don't you ?

LittleIda · 25/04/2015 15:29

I think they are very clever script writers. What sort of comedy do you like angela?

iwouldgoouttonight · 25/04/2015 15:55

Ooh next week's looks like it'll be very dark.

Bakeoffcake · 25/04/2015 20:48

I recorded all of this series and decided to watch the Sheridan Smith one first, omg it's heartbreaking.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 26/04/2015 21:51

I didn't expect it as usually it's so comedic
Wait until later episodes when you hear the Casualty theme tune Grin

bluebump · 26/04/2015 22:02

I think I have missed number 3, will have to try and find it on catch up. Thought it was a good series, loved the silent episode mentioned above in series 1 too.

LittleIda · 27/04/2015 00:04

The next episode is on Wednesday not Thursday.

LittleIda · 27/04/2015 00:10

You should say "batchers." It's how you get on. Grin

angelos02 · 27/04/2015 09:47

I don't particularly have a problem with them. Some episodes have been great - the Sheridan Smith one and the silent one from the 1st series. I just find myself underwhelmed at the endings.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 27/04/2015 12:48

I did love the Countdown video discussion . Reece Shearsmith is so cringeworthy in those sorts of characters. Shades of Ollie Plimsolls

LittleIda · 27/04/2015 13:35

Reese S's character was grotesque. I suppose all the infuriating practical jokes and behaving like an arse was an expression of self hatred, knowing his wife and friend were sleeping together. I'd like to have seen the same episode but with Steve P and Reese S playing each other's characters. I think that could have worked well.

LittleIda · 27/04/2015 13:37

Or maybe his way of getting back at them. Why was he electrocuted? I missed what caused that.

theconstantvacuumer · 27/04/2015 13:39

I thought this week's was fairly pedestrian until the last five minutes when I laughed like a drain! I'll never be able to hear the Casualty theme again without laughing.

The two male characters were a bit ridiculous, almost archetypes from a 1980s sitcom.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 27/04/2015 14:55

The plug fell to bits and he was electrocuted - assume he had bought a cheap charger as they were talking about him saving money .

chocolatelife · 27/04/2015 15:11

I wonder if it was a joke charger, designed to give a shock, he was a joker after all.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 27/04/2015 16:26

Oh god yes ! Bet it was Grin
