On MrsPeabody's advice I've started a new one.

OP posts:
50shadesofknackered · 30/03/2015 23:22

I know I just read it Grin made myself laugh!

GoofyIsACow · 30/03/2015 23:24

I held my breath for most of that! Shock

Although... I am muchos disappointed because the same episode is being shown again, straight after the talking dead and DH and I thought it was the final episode, unaware we had just watched the final episode until we started watching the same thing again!

Kitsandkids · 30/03/2015 23:37

I loved that episode! I was glad no-one major got killed, although it was a shame about Deanna's husband as he seemed like a decent guy.

When they were at the trucks was anyone else thinking a hand was going to come out and grab Aaron when he was pulling the number plate out? Also, right before Aaron opened the truck and all of the walkers came out, it looked like Daryl noticed something strange as there was a shot of the back of the truck he was looking at. Did anyone else notice that?

ZacharyQuack · 30/03/2015 23:45

I think Morgan's stick can enter TWD Hall of Iconic Weapons, next to Michonne's sword and Daryl's crossbow.

Some tense moments - Glenn in the woods, Daryl and Aaron in the car (I though there was a declaration of love coming with those two), and I was cheering for the zombie when Gabriel was outside - bite him goddammit!

I though Deanne told Rick to kill Pete, she was holding Reg so Rick couldn't have shot him. It seemed to indicate that she had accepted Rick's way of doing things (kill rather than banish).

Moln · 31/03/2015 00:05

Is the Talking Dead on again? Stupid recordy box didn't record.

Enjoyed that episode, spent most of it knowing something was going to happen and the jumping when it did anyway!!

Moln · 31/03/2015 00:05

Rick killed Pete. Definitely.

TheArchchancellorsHat · 31/03/2015 00:14

I wonder what Morgan's going to make of it seeing as he said that every life is precious

Yes, and also...I think the Rick he has in his head, that he's been tracking...is not the one he saw when he arrived at Alexandria (and yes I think it was Pete that he shot - it must have appeared very brutal and cold-blooded to Morgan, arriving just at that moment, with Pete restrained and executed). Should make for an interesting reunion.

I didn't notice anything different about Maggie Confused she looked all right to me.

Big PHEW for Glenn and Daryl, both escaped serious peril Grin

I quite like Aaron, sort of hope he joins the crew when everything inevitably goes tits-up and they have to hit the road again.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 31/03/2015 00:23

Wow.

So Rick's the leader. Nicholas is in big trouble. Glenn is pissed. Deanna is pissed. Morgan is probably very disappointed in Rick.

I agree not a lot actually happened in terms of mass walker attack but we did get an introduction to the Wolves and the group dynamics have turned. Hopefully this means they are setting the scene for some brilliant action in series six.

Come oooon October!

ZacharyQuack · 31/03/2015 00:27

Morgan can't be too disappointed in Rick, considering there was a mild-mannered architect dead with a cut throat and a grieving wife, and Pete was holding a sword covered in blood.

Were the two Wolves seen at the end with the guy in the orange jacket the same two that encountered Morgan at the start of the episode? Pity Morgan didn't get a bit more killer-Rick on their asses.....

MadeInChelseaa · 31/03/2015 00:52

Pity Morgan didn't get a bit more killer-Rick on their asses.....

True but then there would be no story.

I'm just surprised there only seems to be 2 members of The Wolves

hopefulpuffin · 31/03/2015 02:11

Don't know if anyone's seen it but there's a 16 second teaser for the prequel on IMDB. Fear the Walking Dead.

brittanyfairies · 31/03/2015 06:04

So glad you've all seen it.

I must be the only person who thinks it was Reg who Rick shot. I'm clinging onto the fact that the old Rick is still in there somewhere. I did think when he was fighting off the zombies that I wouldn't be that bothered if he died.

I think Glenn must be Teflon coated. Why didn't Gabriel get eaten? I would have cheered.

It set season 6 up brilliantly. I really want to know more about the Wolves now.

hopefulpuffin · 31/03/2015 06:25

No brittanyfairies, I also thought Rick shot Reg.

It wasn't until reading on here that I saw everyone assumed he shot Pete. It makes sense for him to have shot Pete.

And someone said that Deanna was too close to Reg for Rick to have safely shot him.

Aridane · 31/03/2015 07:09

RIck shot Pete

MrsPeabody · 31/03/2015 07:11

I thought Maggie looked pregnant. Or at least quite unwell. She looked shiny and hair done on the road, but not now. That and the giant jacket, made me wonder. Speaking of which, you could see sasha's bump when she was lying in the zombie pit. Grin

DontOpenDeadInside · 31/03/2015 07:13

I predicted this a few days ago.

"Or in a twist, no-one will die. There's not usually a death in the series finale. Plus someone said in an interview (think daryl) that there's gonna be tears and people pissed off, which might be because of all the hype then no one dies."
wonder if they need a new writer Wink
I thought it was a great episode, all the tension, not knowing if the person on screen is going to die. At one point Glenn/Gabriel/Rick were all in peril at the same time. Can't wait for October. Its the only programme I download to watch, all the others I can wait for them to come on tv/netflix.

Did everyone watch Talkng Dead? Morgan has apparently had a change of heart and treasures life. When he put the wolves in the car and honked the horn it was for him to see if there was any walkers about so they would not be in danger but give him time to get away.

"

Kitsandkids · 31/03/2015 07:16

When Deanna told him to do it he definitely turned around, away from Deanna (who was cradling Reg), so he can't have shot Reg and must have shot Pete.

DontOpenDeadInside · 31/03/2015 07:34

I definitely think it was Pete he shot. I said to dp, I hope his kids weren't there.

PonyoLovesHam · 31/03/2015 07:46

MadeInChelsea it's not like everyone was slagging Maggie off, she did look 'rougher' for want of a better word. Like MrsPeabody said, she always had glossy hair and looked strong on the road, now they're someone with hot showers and clean clothes but she's covered up in a big grubby jacket with scruffy looking hair - that must have been relevant to the plot somehow?

Is Sasha pregnant in real life then?

PonyoLovesHam · 31/03/2015 07:47

*Somewhere not someone, doh.

DietingEveryMonday · 31/03/2015 07:48

I assumed he'd shot Pete.
Spent most of the episode on the edge of my seat, every now and then screaming "no glenn not you!" very pleased he didn't die. He's been my favourite since his little voice popped up in the tank.
Thought Darryl and Aaron were gonners when they decided to make a run for the gate too. I desperately don't want Rick and Morgan to fall out, i wanted a happy little reunion.
I enjoyed it, was surprised when no one died but glad no one did.

MrsPeabody · 31/03/2015 07:56

I think it's the contrast with the characters that have all found perfectly fitting clothes in Alexandria. Maybe she is pregnant in real life or will reveal she is in the show in season 6?

www.sheknows.com/entertainment/articles/1051193/which-walking-dead-star-is-pregnant

brittanyfairies · 31/03/2015 09:07

The actress who plays Sasha had her baby in December, so she should be up and raring to go for Season 6.

brittanyfairies · 31/03/2015 09:11

I don't think Rick is good people anymore - I know he's been through a lot and survival was the name of the game. But I do think he's on a bit of a power kick, only he can be the leader in Alexandria because he's the best. Reminds me of the Governor to be honest. (Although I loved the Governor, but that could be because lust after David Morrissey).
