I hate the man with a passion I didn't know I had. Smug, opinionated twat. The poor wife.

Good to see Sandy and Sandra still playing to the cameras, though.

That's unkind

ElizabethHoover · 29/03/2015 14:24

I know. I just want them to sit up fgs. It's me. My own prejudice

TrulyTurtles · 29/03/2015 14:27

The silent bf has apparently split with gf. So that's him out.

DrHarleenFrancesQuinzel · 29/03/2015 14:45

He's contracted till the end of the season though I think. All the reports I have read suggest how awkward it will be for him having to be there for filming.

AvonCallingBarksdale · 29/03/2015 20:24

Hmm, I think it's OK to say you find the adults this that or the other, but not a 14-year-old.

Koalafications · 29/03/2015 20:26

Elizabeth that's really quite mean

wellnowthenmardybum · 29/03/2015 20:39

I always wonder what silent jay is like in real life. Bet he's actually quite talkative.
I live in the same town as the moffats and have seen charlotte round the shops a few times, she's was lovely when dd insitsted on going up to her..... I know starstudded indeed try to controll your jelousy Hmm Grin

ElizabethHoover · 29/03/2015 21:49

i KNOW its mean

its deep within my head

Weebirdie · 29/03/2015 22:32

The clocks going forward mean I can watch TV a bit more and tonights episode of Gogglebox is making me laugh muchly.

Davros · 29/03/2015 23:21

Did anyone see the advert to get people to make sure they have registered to vote? Scarlett was good, can't remember who else was in it.
Leon gives me the rage (as I've often said before!)

DrHarleenFrancesQuinzel · 30/03/2015 07:20

wellnow you live near me then, I live 10 mins away.

Housemum · 30/03/2015 11:01

New artist guy - does anyone else imagine him suddenly leaping up and saying, "it's all BLACK, I want to paint it BLACK", Fast Show - style? Something about his mannerisms remind me of that character. (apologies if that's already been said, didn't read the full thread)

HellKitty · 30/03/2015 11:09

I can't stand the Vicar lady with her 'comedy' slippers. Her poor husband, does he actually speak at all? The dogs dad is hilarious and the orange Geordie girl makes me laugh.

Housemum · 30/03/2015 11:09

I did wonder the other day if it is in the German dad's contract to have to say "really" every week. Just so he can say "Wheeeely" (I love the accent!)

Leon and June scare me - it's like me and DH several years on! We'd like to be Steph and Dom but we're more Leon and June... (saying that, Steph and Dom seem to play to their roles more now, seems a lot less genuine that the first series)

Scarlett reminds me to make sure that my DDs see the news more often, who's-knobbing-whom in celeb-land is not what current affairs means... Just occasionally she comes out with a gem, but more often her mum looks at her with a WTF expression.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 30/03/2015 11:18

I find the two hairdressers a bit much tbh. I'm laughing along and then the one with the glasses always seems today something on the edge of wtf with regards race or gender and I just find myself thinking, nah, you're a bit of a prick actually. The bearded one always seems to bridle a bit when he says something 'off' too.

I think the Kevin Bacon thing has gone to his head.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 30/03/2015 11:19

Seems TO SAY not today. Effing autocorrect

Sherlockholmes221b · 03/04/2015 12:20

So does everyone think there's an actual camera crew in every house? I'd assumed there was a static camera positioned above the TV trained on the sofa's and they were told to turn it on for certain programmes during the week. How for example would they get so many of the participants reactions to the news of Nelson Mandela's death - unless of course it was replayed after the event in front of a camera crew, and they faked their reactions, in which case I've completely lost faith!
I enjoy watching everyone EXCEPT Sandy and Sandra who drive me mad (but they must have grown on me a little because I don't actually fast forward their exchanges anymore!) but absolute faves are the Siddiqui's - loved one of the brothers comments following the Wolf Hall clip when Henry VIII stands at a window looking down and waxes lyrical, 'Does not Mistress Seymour have the smallest hands' and he quipped 'that's because you're far away mate'. Genuine LOL moment.
Also love Steph and Dom, the Moffetts and the new couple 'Mary' and husband they are so eccentric! Is the Vicar contractually obligated to watch TV in the evening in her dog collar?!

studiozero · 03/04/2015 12:42

Must be static cameras.

I love the Sandra's and the Siddiqui's, what a lovely gentle family.

Ijustworemytrenchcoat · 03/04/2015 19:37

I think it's obvious we need a Gogglebox Siddiqui special. I've only started watching this series and love it. The Siddiqui family are my favourite, still chuckling about the Theresa May 'tough on the eyes bit'. Also love Scarlett putting her dad on the spot asking him questions about Nelson and her 'what.the.fuck' response to Anne Boleyn's beheading in Wolf Hall.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 03/04/2015 21:43

I love them and Scarlett. Gutted Daddy Moffatt is an NUFC fan Sad

ShutUpLegs · 03/04/2015 22:03

I thought the artist and Mary were a lesbian couple. Took ages to work out he was a he.

mayfridaycomequickly · 03/04/2015 22:19

I love it - scarlett was hilarious with the tea bag stuff!

I howled when one of the hairdressers said a baby on OBEM looked like a smurf when it popped out - that's exactly what I thought when ds was born!

EachandEveryone · 03/04/2015 22:31

I like all of them really.

Feckeggblue · 03/04/2015 22:37

Sherlock they all film for a day or 2 with a live crew watching the designated shows in one go. A co worker is related to one of the families Smile

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 03/04/2015 22:51

Id love to be on Gogglebox except it means I would have to wear clothes while watching tv instead of pjs.

Dom tonight mistaking Martin Freeman for Morgan Freeman! And his lemon chinos.
