That's ok earlybird. Got a bit behind as I had to do bedtime, but Ray did 'Fly Me to the Moon' and Leona did 'All By Myself' for their final numbers.

I think it really says something about people when they harp on and on about her lack of personality. She is 1000000 times better than Ray who is NOT a good singer. He is vaguely entertaining if you like vanilla but can that Girl sing? If Ray wins you will see him and his 'great' personality (he has a nice smile but what the hell do yo see to make you think he has a personality) probably for one hit record.

Gary Barlow will probably write stuff for Leona.

Leona definately has the better voice,but absolutely no personality.I personally think neither of them have the X Factor and was rooting for Ben to win.
I reckon Ray will win though as all the grannies and ex Brookside fans will be voting for him,but at the end of the day it really doesn't matter as I'm sure they'll both be given a recording contract,so it'll be interesting to see if they're around this time next year.

I think Ray would be great as the lead singer in a boy band - he's talented, cute, cheeky. Is he strong enough a vocalist to be a successful solo singer? Not sure, but doubtful.

Anyone who can outsing Whitney on a Whitney tune has the X factor, but agree with Simon Cowell re the personality thing.

Ray's great, but in the style of Bruce Forsyth or Joe Longthorne, you can imagine him hosting some Saturday night variety type show and singing duets with Rat Pack-esque guests

Oh purrleaseeeeeeeeeeeee let it be Leona. It's shit and rubbish and propa pants if she doesn't. Their abilities can't be compared. She has an amazing, amazing voice. I never vote on these thigns, ever, but I voted for her tonight. I know she'll do well even if she doesn't win but it would still be weird if Ray won over her.
I don't wish Ray anything but all the best but he dpesn't come close in singing abilities.

I don't buy a record because the singer is loud and funny (although I do appreciate it can help sell the whole package)

I buy a record because I like the song and it is sung well

and now we have to watch clips of them sing again and again and again

Now that you can compare them, singing the same song, Leona is so obviously a league above the rest. Ray is cute to look at, but buying a cd, his voice can't carry it off at all
