Think back to the farm, it was a them and us then, and they all came together to fight off the governor. I think the same will happen here, the Alexandria people seem ok, I think there is a bigger enemy out there, the people in the hospital are still around.

The Buttons scene was horribleSadreminded me of the scene in one of the very first episodes when Rick's horse was attacked by a herd. I was hoping Buttons would be able to gallop away.

Carol did a good job of scaring the life out of that boyShock

starburst1979 · 10/03/2015 07:52

Carol is totally stealing the show, I do feel like she will break off from the group at some point (hope not though)

MrsSlocombesPussy · 10/03/2015 08:09

I can see most of the Alexandria residents going the same way as the additional prison residents. The weak will die and a the strong will join Rick's family.

MrsSlocombesPussy · 10/03/2015 08:11

One thing that's bugging me though. If the wall is so brilliant, why did they build the support struts on the outside? Wouldn't it have made more sense to be on the inside?

OstentatiousBreastfeeder · 10/03/2015 08:17

Carol is an absolute nutter, I think she's just clocked out. I don't think the threatening of minors will end well for her Sad

OstentatiousBreastfeeder · 10/03/2015 08:20

I predict a major, gruesome death in the season finale.

Midori1999 · 10/03/2015 08:41

I saw this earlier and thought it was funny.

The wall supports bug me too. Surely they need to brace it on the inside, to stop it being pushed inwards.

Carol didn't have a lot of choice with the boy. If he had told anyone that she snuck into the storeroom to steal guns, her whole group would have been put at risk. I think Carol's whole ethos is "protect the group".

I loved that her horror story about the monsters was actually exactly what could happen in (their) reality. It just illustrated that they are living in the time of storybook monsters and nightmares come to life.

MrsPeabody · 10/03/2015 09:03

Carol is a good actress. She switches from wholesome mum figure to terrifying threats with apparent ease. Nice to see a strong female character.

aticusclaw · 10/03/2015 09:25

Carol is fantastic. I love that she's sucking everyone in.

I'm worried about those letters W and A. There's always something dark going on in the background.

susiedaisy · 10/03/2015 10:02

I love the way Carole was walking down the street with Rick plotting stuff but smiling sweetly as if they were happy and just chit chatting

OstentatiousBreastfeeder · 10/03/2015 10:29

Was the W stamped on the walker or was it carved?

susiedaisy · 10/03/2015 10:42

Carved i thought

MrsPeabody · 10/03/2015 10:44

The walker had W carved into his head like the ones seen previously. Rick had A (for Alexandria) stamped on his hand at the party.

Can't remember if we discussed this? Do we think the young girl that climbed over the fence is part of the W crowd? I think she has the gun Rick hid too.

Iforgottotellyou · 10/03/2015 10:51

OMG just catching up on last night's.
Did anyone else notice the blood splatter on top right of the camera !!!!! Can't believe this clanger!!

How the hell have I missed TWD threads.

These episodes are the worst as you feel uneasy just waiting for whatever is going to happen.

limitedperiodonly · 10/03/2015 11:30

Buttons Sad

Rollergirl1 · 10/03/2015 11:31

DH and I were sat cringing with our hands over our eyes when Rick went in for a kiss with hairdresser woman! Shock Why would he do that in a busy party when he's already had a less than friendly welcome from her hubby?

ConeyIslandPeach · 10/03/2015 11:39

What was with the "w" on the walkers head and the hand stamping?? That has to mean something

I did think it was The Wolves but now I think it stands for The Whisperers. Basically whoever the W belongs to it will be a sick group that will try and kill them and take their supplies.

I think the same will happen here, the Alexandria people seem ok, I think there is a bigger enemy out there, the people in the hospital are still around.

Why would the people at the hospital be after Rick? They are in Georgia and the group are in DC, that's over 600miles apart. Also the two groups very much called a ceasefire between the two. I highly doubt you will see any of the hospital people again.

ConeyIslandPeach · 10/03/2015 11:44

Rick has become the new Shane.

OstentatiousBreastfeeder · 10/03/2015 11:52

Definitely a separate group from the hospital. I think maybe a group led by the exiled few that Deanna spoke about to Rick.

Also think that the girl who climbed the wall was a part of the group that got exiled, but she stayed because maybe she wasn't complicit in their crimes, or she was too young? And she's remaining in contact, hence the sneaking out.

Rollergirl I know!! Poor lonely Rick. Lost all his game.

Has anyone managed to estimate the timeline from when they left the prison to finding Alexandria? Judith has stayed the same age, but it seems like it's been months and months.

limitedperiodonly · 10/03/2015 12:03

Carol going out with Rick and Glenn (was it?) to the shack was suspicious.

Her act is that she's defenceless so she'd be a liability. If they were teaching her to shoot, they'd do that inside the compound.

Maybe the Alexandrians are too dozy to notice that. But I think it's quite unlikely that Aaron didn't observe her being competent when he was following them.

I agree with the PPs who think Enid or someone was hiding in the shack and has the gun Rick hid. Nobody else would know where to look.

I thought the boy was going to do that trick of offering Rick a stamp and then stamping on his foot.

I also thought 'Mrs Neidermeyer's pasta maker' was some form of sinister code. Especially when Aaron took Daryl out the garage.

limitedperiodonly · 10/03/2015 12:05

When Deanna's husband was being faux modest about building the fence, I wondered whether Rick was thinking: 'Yes, you idiot. I'd have put the struts on the inside facing out.'

MrsPeabody · 10/03/2015 12:44

Maybe we haven't seen Eugene as the first thing he would say/assess would be the unsafeness of the fence Grin
