Old thread was full up so bit the bullet and started new one, apologies to those who don't like the thread title.

I love this thread, as you have picked up on little things that I missed in the episode (like Carol being undercover).

I must have been too busy wondering why Darryl wouldn't have a shower?!

I kind of like Daryl being all grimy still but I would not be averse to the next episode being a 'single character' one where Daryl has a shower. Then kills some zombies. Then has another shower.

I agree with others Daryl does seem to be distancing himself from the group these last few episodes.

He's not distancing himself from Carol and Rick. That's all that matters really. The rest are just walker fodder really (although I love Glen and Tara - I don't expect them to survive though, not through to the end. Well, certainly not Tara).

I think Daryl took a long time to feel part of the group in the first place. It is just his personality to be wary and take his time.

I am not sure what we know about Daryl before the ZA. Not much? Suspect he was a bit of a loner.

This is what makes TWD so good - that we know a lot about the people from what is actually not a lot of information.

I like the theory of a pp that the group might be letting Daryl be the one who obviously doesn't fit in, so the Alexandria people's attention will be on him, not on the rest of the group and what they're up to.

I am not sure what we know about Daryl before the ZA. Not much?

His mother died in a house fire, Merle spent most of his teen years in juvie and then left because his father beat him, when he left he would beat Daryl instead.

He also told a story that he got lost in the woods for 9 days and when he eventually found his way home his father didn't even notice he was gone.

He said before the ZA he was just following Merle around doing whatever Merle told him to do.

Any room for a newbie ladies? Dunno where ive been but only just discovered the walking dead on sky boxset and after being told how fab it is, proceeded to dowload seasons 1-5. In three weeks im already well into season 4. OMG its fantastic! and Daryl Dixon what a hottie

Mummy, I watched them all close together and I'm now hating waiting on week by week episodes.

Has everyone already discussed how annoying Andrea is. Why has she started to move like that? Shifting her weight from one foot to the other and waving one arm backwards and forwards even when she is standing still???

I caught up last night and am now up to date. I'm liking this Alexandria place, it's always nice to look at lovely big America homes with verandas - I keep expecting Ty from Extreme Makeover Home Edition to turn up!

Something I'm not clear on. In the episode where they were in the cabin and the walkers were trying to get in, what had killed them all by the next morning? Surely not just a tree falling down (not even close to them either, as they were all crowded around the door). I am sure I saw one of the walkers chopped in half and had assumed it was the same wolefs who left the torsos in the van, but nobody questioned what happened?

Did anyone notice how Carol told Deanna she missed her dear husband. That would be her horrible abusive husband. So she's definitely putting on a mild mumsy persona.

It's so obvious that Rick's going to get involved with wotsit the hairdresser and end up fighting her husband, who is definitely a wrong 'un. If only people and situations were that easy to read in real life eh!
