Old thread was full up so bit the bullet and started new one, apologies to those who don't like the thread title.

Saw on sky the other day that Lennie James is one of the stars in a new series so I can't imagine Morgan will make an appearance any time soon. My money is on Sasha going as the actress was pregnant in real life when series 5 was being shot (the real reason she is wearing Bob's jacket!)

Marking place, loved Ricks last comment can't wait for next week.

HayDayRookie · 06/03/2015 22:17

Good thread title. I got goosbumps when Rick said it. I think this episode is my favourite yet. I loved Michonne's sword casually leaning on the sofa at her chst with Deanna Grin

WhatwouldGemmado · 06/03/2015 22:18

Still loving Carol and Daryl. Her threat to hose him down while he's sleeping, and his 'You look ridiculous'. Rick still very much in charge, but he needs to keep an eye on Coral...

Rollergirl1 · 06/03/2015 22:23

Also, I think Daryl is just uncomfortable with the general 'niceness' of the place. He's never really been used to that kind of lifestyle and the alexandians are exactly the sort of people he would have hated before, just like he hated Rick etc in season 1.

Exactly this. I thought Daryl seemed really awkward and I think he won't fit in and this has the potential to splinter the group. Daryl came in to his own when all the social barriers had been removed. Reinforcing them will make him an outsider.

Rollergirl1 · 06/03/2015 22:26

Totally missed the gun bit, both Rick hiding it and it going missing. Was that all in the last episode?

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 07/03/2015 00:06

Hooray, I found you.

I've been lurking a while under various NNs but thought I'd return to my Walking Dead name in honour of this thread.

Loving the new dynamic, and LOVED Rick's shower scene and big shave... he's a lot fitter than his Egg days eh! I think Hairdresser lady is going to cause tension between Rick and her husband for sure. (and maybe a tiny bit of jealousy from Michonne)

I agree that Daryl is just uncomfortable with the affluent lifestyle, new authority, change of dymanic, powerful lady in charge.

I didn't twig what Carol was up to, until her interview where she said the group looked after her Grin she's a toughie that one. Loving her 'mumsy' disguise.

I particularly liked the symbolism at the end, where you had Rick, Carol and Daryl all standing together on the balcony, and all dressed as their former selves. I predict we'll have a period of fraction among the group before something draws them all back together.

Love that Rick is such a lean, mean surviving machine that he's willing to 'take' the community if he needs to.

I was shouting at the TV though that they just sort of wandered in and went into the house. I would have demanded that EVERY person in the community came out and lined up, and then I would have searched every inch of the place, and checked the entire perimeter. Have they learned nothing from Woodbury...?

Please can Daryl be the next in the shower with us watching his greasy hair is hiding his beauty.

I'm dying for something major to happen but I actually think that they could just settle for a while like at the prison.

It's TWD come on, even if they do settle down its not going to be just them drinking lemonade on the porch.

The Wolves are coming don't worry.

TheVolatileMolatov · 07/03/2015 00:57

I never thought I'd say it but I'm missing Rick's beard.

Completely agree nottheOP where did Father Gabriel disappear to. I know he entered Alexandria but I didn't saw him in the house.

Blonde women are just as vulnerable I think Munchkinmaster Smile

ifdaryldiesweriot · 07/03/2015 01:01

Completely agree nottheOP where did Father Gabriel disappear to. I know he entered Alexandria but I didn't saw him in the house.

I think he just isn't that relevant to this episode which is why he barely featured. They have too many in the family to show how each one is adapting.

I really wouldn't read too much into it.

Morgan was in the first episode, his son Duane was with him and his wife was a walker and he couldn't kill her. He was seen in a later episode in season 2, I think and his son had centrally been killed by his wife and he had gone a little mad. Then Morgan was shown again at the very end of the mid season finale.

DontOpenDeadInside · 07/03/2015 08:02

About "undercover" Carol, if Aaron was watching them for a while (they mentioned something about him seeing the prison happening) then surely they know she's not meek? Though i don't believe he did see so far back, its just what one of the group said.

DontOpenDeadInside · 07/03/2015 08:05

Oh and we don't usually have a death at end of series, its usually mid season. Last end of series was them in the trailer car at Terminus and Ricks "they dont know who they're messing with" speech. But anything can happen in TWD world. I really don't want any ofvthe originals to die.

MrsPeabody · 07/03/2015 08:10

I completely missed the flash back to Morgan Smile Was there just one?

When Rick said about taking Alexandria for themselves I had a worry about them being recorded or still being spied on. TWD is making me paranoid!

Rollergirl1 · 07/03/2015 08:14

It was season 3 that we saw Morgan again when he had gone mad. And then we saw him right at the end of the first episode of season 5 after the group had fled Terminus. Have we seen him again since then?

MrsPeabody · 07/03/2015 08:17

Oh, was that when he found the Washington map? I had realised he was following them. I though he was still clearing out the old town.

MrsPeabody · 07/03/2015 08:19

*hadn't

Rollergirl1 · 07/03/2015 08:26

Rick is leaving a trail for him I believe.

GentlyBenevolent · 07/03/2015 08:29

I'm sure Enid took the gun. I think she's a plant, put there by the 'Wolves' (whoever it was who put the legless walkers with the Ws on their heads in the van near Shirewilt). I think that Daryl Carol and Rick are safe, anyone else could kark it at any moment.

MrsPeabody · 07/03/2015 08:41

I just googled and found the 'Washington map' clip. Can't see any others though.

Agree Enid probably took the gun. Trying to resist googling wolves. Grin

Midori1999 · 07/03/2015 09:22

I think yiure probably right about Morgan Rollergirl, that we did last see him at the end of the mid season finale. It seems like that was forever ago!

GentlyBenevolent · 07/03/2015 09:51

The graffiti in Shirewilt (lingered over by the camera) said something like 'wolves are coming'. And the walker torsos in the van all had the letter W carved/cut into their heads. Someone did that to them. I don't know anything but I assume the wolves will be like the claimers or the termites or the saviours (comic reference). Essentially - baddies.

GentlyBenevolent · 07/03/2015 09:56

We saw Morgan at the ends f the first episode of this season (after the credits, following the heading 'now') and at the end of the mid season finale. Morgan's clips occur later in the time stream than the action we were watching with our guys (I wish our guys had a handy name like 'losties' (which is clearly who they are modeled on, even in the publicity pics). Although I read on another site a quite good argument that they can also be seen through the prism of watership down at the moment - the writer thought that made AFZ Effrafa but I reckon that Grady was Effrafa - AFZ seems a bit more like Cowslip's warren I think...

ELR · 07/03/2015 12:59

What are these wolves you speak of?
