Old thread was full up so bit the bullet and started new one, apologies to those who don't like the thread title.

we stayed away from each other

Omg are you for real? Have you heard yourself?

Confused

Very over dramatic.

FinnHuckleBerry · 17/03/2015 19:34

I have no wish to wind people up on this board or to start a fight.

You said my point was lazy and then you quickly play the victim card when I actually never said anything bad to you.

If anyone else feels like I'm a gigantic bully making people cry on here then just say and I'll fuck off. Genuinely cannot be bothered with the drama.

ApocalypseNowt · 17/03/2015 19:37

Come on Finn- limited apologised.

Let's all play nicely and think about Daryl on his motorbike. Mmmm. Better.

How many episodes are left btw?

ApocalypseNowt · 17/03/2015 19:37

Xposted!

I don't think anyone is a gigantic bully.

I do think we need a Daryl shower scene.

OstentatiousBreastfeeder · 17/03/2015 19:40

Two, Apocalypse Sad

ApocalypseNowt · 17/03/2015 19:44

Only two? Sad

I really think TWD needs to be like a soap and be on permanently. Maybe not 4/5 nights a week like Eastenders as I'd get nothing else done. But once a week like Holby City would be fab.

Kitsandkids · 17/03/2015 20:18

I don't think Rick etc are bad people. The time when he drove past the guy on the road and just left him was when he was going through a difficult time and previous events had left him thinking no one could be trusted and they were better off on their own. However, he then opened up the prison to all the survivors from Woodbury, plus any new people who came later, because he realised he was wrong. He is inherently good - he has just had to make some tough choices; not all of which he got right. He has always gone to the aid of people he cares about though - unlike Gabriel who let everyone he knew get killed and eaten or turned into zombies.

Carol, I think, is afraid of getting close to children because all of the children she cared about (apart from Judith) ended up dead. She has gone through too much emotionally and doesn't want to let herself 'feel' again because it's too hard, but ultimately she can't help herself. She followed Sam because she was worried about him and what she saw of his father worried her further.

I thought last night's episode was very good, though I was sad Noah died. The previous couple of episodes I wasn't too excited by, so I was pleased to see TWD return to top form! Grin

MrsPeabody · 17/03/2015 20:20

I don't think either limited or Finn have been bullying or out of order. Just miss read each others tones after the confusion with Limited's post about bob/tyresse.

Anyhoo, has it been discussed on these threads before about our own survival in a zombie world? A pp made me think about how far reaching the invasion is and what it would be like. I haven't been eyeing up local castles and gated communities. Oh no, not I! Grin

MrsPeabody · 17/03/2015 20:22

Apocalypse, that would be great. It could also be like CSI and have series running with different locations.

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 17/03/2015 20:48

Ahh!! I've somehow missed half a thread?! Wtf?! Shock

I have a purely speculative guess for the season finale i'm not in possession of spoilers or anything - i think it will be related to sashas knife, iykwim...? And i'm predicting the death of deana (amongst others)

Our plans are

a) Winchester, wait for it all to blow over.

b) I live round the corner from these badboys so if everything goes tits up I'm stealing a boat and rowing the family to safety.

Then, once the initial outbreak dies down/most of the population are either dead or undead, we're making a beeline for DH's place of work which has sturdy, spiked steel fences and gates and enough food to feed 3,000 people for a month, obtaining weapons on the way in case we need to reclaim the place for our own, from bandits.

Also, I'ma get me some chickens.

Gr33dyeggs · 17/03/2015 21:12

We were driving through an industrial estate the other day and I was thinking 'could hold up here if shtf - secure fencing and sturdy buildings also likely a food distribution place on it Blush

tossedsalads · 17/03/2015 21:24

Lol at Apocalypse...one day you will get your shower scene, one day...

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/03/2015 21:27

Omg. DP and I just watched. He thought it would be glen who died

Where do I start

Abraham - my red hero !!! The others were going to leave Her to die :( but my man went to rescue Her - plus we got to are him naked / well top half

happy blondes

Poor Aiden and why didn't they kill him rather then be eaten to death

Bad Gabriel - Rick and crew rescued him and that how he repays them

Poor Noah :( and poor glen watching his face getting torn off

Carol - should have made kid biscuits

God point about being abusive mum and not dad

Rick and Miconne didn't have much of a part in this episode - neither did Darryl

Rosieliveson · 17/03/2015 21:28

I've just caught up with the episode. Poor Noah :( that was pretty gross!
Is Abraham medicine dependant at all? It looked to me like he had a med id bracelet when he was leant up against the truck.

I've also just pointed out to DH that we are woefully unequipped to survive a ZA with DS and the cat in tow. We need to invest in some baseball bats and the like!

Confusedhousehunter · 17/03/2015 21:31

There's one thing that keeps occurring to me whenever I watch this show. Are human teeth really sharp enough to tear someone apart?

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 17/03/2015 21:32

After watching that guy leave his own brother to die, after confessing that that was what they did, it's a pity Glen and Noah didn't just shove the door open and let the other bugger die.

Rosieliveson · 17/03/2015 21:36

Were they brothers? I thought Aiden and the one who popped up last week (from one tree hill) were the sons?

OstentatiousBreastfeeder · 17/03/2015 21:37

Apparently, Confused, you could easily bite off your finger as easily as biting through a carrot stick, if you wanted. But our instincts will always stop us from doing that to ourselves or (unless you're crazy) others.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 17/03/2015 21:37

Yes they were brothers. What was his name? Nicholas?

MrsPeabody · 17/03/2015 21:38

Ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I live in a city so my biggest threat would be other humans trying to survive. That and my youngest toddler would attract every walker in a 100 mile radius. Though his wee grumpy face might actually make them run away again Wink

There are actually lots of 'bring back Beth' petitions, but no 'Daryl naked in the shower with some soap and glory' petitions. Wtf?!

AwfulBeryl · 17/03/2015 21:47

Am I too late to the party to join ?

iklboo · 17/03/2015 21:56

Abraham & His Violently Red Bonce. What an absolute legend.

caroldecker · 17/03/2015 21:56

the archchancellorshat Georgia is c. 60% white, 30% black and 10% other. Of your 27 major characters, 9 are black (33%), 16 are white (60%), 2 are other (7%) - so pretty much exactly as you would expect for a random group of Georgians.
