What was Gabriel's motive though? He sounded a little unhinged. I think it's clear he's severely mentally unwell. He needs a cuddle and a cup of tea.

Loved Sam totally not being terrified by carol.

Abraham brilliant. Also really liked the tall guy who gave up his job, he's a goodun. Also Eugene fab. Terrible timing for them to come roaring in with news of deanna's after that announcement.

Anyway, treesex looking like possibility for rick, once he's offed Pete.

MrsPeabody · 16/03/2015 22:35

He also went back for Merle. He didn't want to kill Shane, but realised Shane was going to kill him. The homeless guy was a tough one, but it really highlighted the trust issues they were facing at the time. Soooo, I think Rick is a good guy.

Has anyone read The Road? Rick and the group are carrying the torch I think. They were just on the point of being out there too long.

Boysclothes · 16/03/2015 22:35

News of deanna's sons death I mean.

susiedaisy · 16/03/2015 22:35

It would make sense for Sam not to be scared of Carole if he is used to his father being horrible

TheVolatileMolatov · 16/03/2015 22:36

I think Father Gabriel was a complete twat - unable to come to terms with his own actions (leaving his flock to be slaughtered) to protect himself he is trying to get rid of the witnesses to that so he can live in a state of complete self delusion.

And I think Rick is a good guy - within the parameters of the moral code they have established in a ZA - The protection of family is everything.

OstentatiousBreastfeeder · 16/03/2015 22:37

I agree, they're carrying the torch. The torch has become a bit rugged but it's still lit.

susiedaisy · 16/03/2015 22:38

ricks a good guy who's forced to be harsh only when he's backed into a corner and has no other option afaic

rallytog1 · 16/03/2015 22:38

They ARE good. They've done some pretty terrible things, but they never leave a man behind if they can help it. Unlike the Alexandrians, some of whom did not deserve to be saved in that ep.

Next thread should definitely be called Mother Dick.

50shadesofknackered · 16/03/2015 22:38

Poor, poor Noah! I think the acting was great. The way Noah looked at Glenn when he slammed into the glass was heartbreaking! Gabriel! what a bastard! The group do what they have to to survive but are loyal to each other and are each others first priority. I hope Maggie kills Gabriel! I think Deanna's gonna go postal coz her son got killed and she'll blame Glenn and the group, especially after what Gabriel said and do/try to do something to Judith ( hope I'm wrong) I really want Carol to be the one to sort out the Dr (can't remember his name). I can't wait till next week, its just so far away. Also Rick's gotta end up killing Deanna or maybe Maggie will do it.

Boysclothes · 16/03/2015 22:41

Let's remember the alexandrians have done really well, much better than our group. I think if our group go in and kill everyone then they will become really unsympathetic.

50shadesofknackered · 16/03/2015 22:43

To the pp (sorry can't remember ur name) I'd have totally left that bloke there for the zombies. Bastard!

Notrevealingmyidentity · 16/03/2015 22:46

Ah not just me then Grin

Me and 50 against the world in the zombie apocalypse then.

TheVolatileMolatov · 16/03/2015 22:47

But they haven't done better through ability but luck in getting the site in the first place - And then in never being attacked or suffering a walker horde. So I'm not sure it's fair to think they are superior. They have just been more fortunate.

I have read speculation that it's the mother who is abusing Sam not the father. Which is a role reversal from the comics but then some of the Alexandrian characters have been reversed. And maybe explains why Sam destroyed her owl.

MrsSlocombesPussy · 16/03/2015 22:47

I agree that Maggie will tell Rick about Gabriel. It looks like it will all kick off next week.
I don't think they are bad people. They are good people who have had to do bad things to survive.
Don't forget that when they drove past that guy on the road, Rick had just lost Lori because of people from outside the group.
Wasn't Eugene great this week! The self-confessed coward, who wasn't so cowardly after all

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 16/03/2015 22:49

I'm hoping Eugene's mullet gets it's own spin off show...

TheVolatileMolatov · 16/03/2015 22:51

Yes Eugene was great and I hope Tara is ok.

I was actually surprised at how sad I felt at poor Noah's death - and what a gruesome death it was.

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 16/03/2015 22:53

Tara's fine.

If she was going to die this series she'd have died there and then.

susiedaisy · 16/03/2015 22:54

Ooh that's an interesting theory about sams mum. Sad though Hmm

50shadesofknackered · 16/03/2015 22:54

You and me Not as long as we can say Motherdick all the time Grin

Midori1999 · 16/03/2015 22:56

It's definitely got more gruesome again.

Was anyone else surprised by Glen's reaction to Noah's death? Obviously he'd been upset, but I had felt he was more hardened to things now until tonight.

Notrevealingmyidentity · 16/03/2015 22:56

On motherdick will be outer motto.

Notrevealingmyidentity · 16/03/2015 22:56

Our

50shadesofknackered · 16/03/2015 22:57

I actually thought for a minute when it looked like that man had got the better of Eugene and was going to take the van, that perhaps Tara was going to turn and take a bite out of him. I'm pleased she's still alive tho. They've taken a few smaller characters out this week, they've got to take a big one out soon, although I don't want them to.

50shadesofknackered · 16/03/2015 22:58

Yay!

CrispyFern · 16/03/2015 23:00

You traitor Gabriel!

Poor Noah, I liked him. :(
I thought Glen was going to die too for a moment.

I liked how Carol is having to be good again and trying to help people after being so mean last week.

I was saying to DH, what if next week, Nicholas tells his mum that the others killed Aiden, and all their (true) stories about him being a coward and leaving people to die are lies to trick her and make him seem bad so they get to take over doing runs and gain more power.
He was a slimy coward who would make things up to benefit himself and damn the consequences for anyone else I reckon.

That's what I'd write if I was doing next week's episode anyway.
