Not sure of the W and A - w on walker looked carved on.

W was carved on to the head. Do you mean the A stamp? It stands for Alexandria, it was a sign of acceptance.

Def no crops or animals so how do they live. Only so much food and seems booze is plentiful

They do supply runs.

How did they travel 600 miles from hospital to army base?

By car. When they ran out of petrol they walked, took shelter in the barn and then Aaron found them and they drove the rest of the way.

rallytog1 · 10/03/2015 21:17

A was also the stamp on the box car at Terminus. Kind of symbolic of being in a prison...

ConeyIslandPeach · 10/03/2015 21:18

Will here be a 6?

Of course. It was confirmed in October.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 10/03/2015 21:23

So who's gonna watch the spin off?

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/03/2015 21:29

Thanks coney. Yes supply runs. But where do they go?

Yes to spin off. Don't want to Google and ruin anything for myself dragon utter ha ha ha

Tho think read somewhere that it's the prequel? So from When Rick was in a coma and how he got there and how zomblies happened Etc

If a def s6 why a spin off?

carbcraver · 10/03/2015 21:43

Omg...... How have I just found this!!!??!! Love TWD. it's the little things that annoy me but keep me watching!! When the hell is Morgan gunna make an appearance! He's following them right??!!

ConeyIslandPeach · 10/03/2015 21:48

But where do they go?

Just around the area nearby I'm guessing.

Tho think read somewhere that it's the prequel?

No prequel, it will be a different saviour group based in LA, no connection to the group.

There are three "webisodes" that came out a few years back that were at the beginning of the outbreak. In season 1 where Rick kills a walker cut in half out of pity, she was called Hanna and they did the backstory to her which was really sad.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 10/03/2015 21:50

Be nice to know how it all actually started.

ConeyIslandPeach · 10/03/2015 21:51

When the hell is Morgan gunna make an appearance! He's following them right??!!

I don't get the hype with Morgan. I mean I like him and he's a cool guy but I don't get excited when I see him briefly appear in an episode.

ConeyIslandPeach · 10/03/2015 21:53

Be nice to know how it all actually started.

I don't think it's ever been addressed in the comics so I doubt they'll ever address it in the tv show either.

I have a feeling there will never be a "cure" either. It's just a new world.

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 10/03/2015 22:03

I think Morgan's just going to turn up once each series for a completely random reason.

Like Janice in Friends.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/03/2015 22:15

So they just keep wandering about??? Was there a cure in films - 24hrs? Can't rem the name of it and it's sequel

Would be nice to know the beginning and the first zomblie - and was IT a science experiment /army etc

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 10/03/2015 22:24

They could do a little spin off to show what happened. They make half of it up anyway, it's not try to the comics. Would love to see it.

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 10/03/2015 23:10

In South Park the old days if you killed the first zombie then all other zombies would turn back to normal humans.

You'd have to know which was the original zombie, though. Which is difficult.

ZacharyQuack · 10/03/2015 23:11

Oh yes, Morgan = Janice. Oh. My. God!

They travelled 500 miles by car from the hospital to Noah's old home. While they were there, they decided to continue to Washington and I think they said they were only 100 miles away. During that 100 mile journey, their cars died and they ended up walking and were found by Aaron a few hours' drive from Alexandria.

Morgan can't be following them directly, as Rick's group drove most of the way, but he found the map to Washington (with a message from Abraham addressed to Rick Grimes written on it) so he knows that Rick is probably heading to Washington. I assume he'll catch up with them at some stage because why else would they show him (apart from "Oh. My. God!"), but I'm fairly meh about it.

I don't think they need to show the beginning of the outbreak, or how it came to infect every person, or that there will necessarily be an end. It's just the world that they are living in.

I find it hard to believe that the people of Alexandria can be so sheltered for so long. I know Deanna said that Washington DC was evacuated, but surely there are more survivors and zombies wandering around? Or other groups of survivors who had the same idea as Rick to head to Washington. Rick's group were in rural Georgia and there were zombies everywhere.

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 10/03/2015 23:14

Zombie infections happen one of two ways.

Being bitten by a monkey or Worcester Sauce used as embalming fluid.

Most zombie movies haven't gone into details of why it happened. Quite like that.

We don't know. Characters don't know. Works.

ConeyIslandPeach · 11/03/2015 00:04

but surely there are more survivors and zombies wandering around?

Of course there are. They've only really been in two states (Georgia and Washington DC) when you think about it. I guess that's why they are doing the spin off.

Anyway without giving a spoiler away there are many other groups in the comic book (good and bad)

So they just keep wandering about??? Was there a cure in films - 24hrs? Can't rem the name of it and it's sequel

I guess so, I think their sole aim is to find a place to settle, but it's not even about being safe from zombies anymore, it's being safe and protected from other groups.

Do you mean 28 days laters? It's not connected to TWD but that was a virus outbreak when a monkey bit a activist and the virus just kept spreading.

I don't believe they ever found a cure for it in either of the films. But unlike TWD the "zombies" in 28 Days Later do start to die of starvation.

ZacharyQuack · 11/03/2015 00:19

I don't know the TWD zombies will starve to "death", but their bodies are definitely rotting. I wonder if they will get to the stage when the bodies' soft tissues deteriorate so much that they are no longer mobile? Even so, when the living die they turn, so new zombies are being created, albeit at a slower rate than the initial outbreak.

ConeyIslandPeach · 11/03/2015 01:25

I don't know the TWD zombies will starve to "death"

I didn't say they did.

I said in 28 Days Later they did.

It's already been addressed in TWD that the zombies do not die from starvation.

ZacharyQuack · 11/03/2015 01:30

Sorry Coney, I'm not disagreeing with you, just trying clumsily to express my own thoughts.

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 11/03/2015 01:53

Think the zombies will just wither. Legs and arms will fall off, etc. They're moving slower too.

Am I the only person who thought Buttons was a stupid name for a horse?

ZacharyQuack · 11/03/2015 02:03

Was I the only one that thought "mmmm steak" when Buttons turned up?

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 11/03/2015 02:05

The walkers certainly did..!
