I think he's hilarious. I love how he instantly knows if someone is lying.

shadypines · 21/01/2015 16:37

You may have shed some light on my ailment there GoodMorning, he is very amusing. I like the way he tells people to 'think of another adjective to describe that...' And what's that noise he does in fast repition, it's something between a tut and a shhhhshhh.

Just going to take my anti-Rinder medication otherwise I'm in trouble....

I've only seen this once, where a girl was trying to get money back from her LL for faulty windows and doors causing a £5k heating bill Shock.

He asked why she had stayed so long so she replied "do you want me to be honest?" he rather waspishly retorted "no, I want you lie" then eye-rolled. I can't watch again or I'll get sucked in Grin

GooodMythicalMorning · 21/01/2015 17:43

Its brilliant. My favourite quote "I can smell a lie like a fart in a lift."

shadypines · 21/01/2015 18:43

Shadows yes indeed, you will be sucked in like a sparrows feather near a Dyson.

GoodMythicalMorining I'm glad it's not just me!

I love him - very fair and hilarious with it. Bet he'd be a good laugh down the pub (and I bet he's got some great stories to tell) Grin

NoArmaniNoPunani · 21/01/2015 19:00

I love a bit of Rinder, he's so deliciously condescending

RustyParker · 21/01/2015 19:13

I was supposed to go to a filming of the show but my cat got knocked over the night before and we were back at the vets again in the morning (cat was ok but I'll never forgive him for making me miss meeting JR Grin )

Love how the claimants / defendants look puzzled when he uses "fancy" words although I do feel a bit guilty for it.

The crazy dog lady is my fave episode so far. She was asked by a friend of a friend to mine her dogs while she was moving home. One of the dogs became ill so she quite rightly took it to the vet but also decided to have it neutered without the owner knowing Shock then refused to give the dog back Shock Shock

GooodMythicalMorning · 21/01/2015 19:38

The girls tattoo on one was crazy. She had 'shit happens' tattooed on her bum at a house party whilst drunk by a drunk friend then wanted to sue him for the removal as it was ugly and massive. He said they were both stupid and think she got a bit but not all of the money.

Frozenchipsareawful · 21/01/2015 19:44

He is a marmite type person, i like him. He is fair and funny. It makes a change from house / cookery type programmes.

shadypines · 23/01/2015 23:05

{shock] Shock Shock She had 'shit happens' tattooed on her bum at a house party whilst drunk

Oh my lord does that sound like television gold.

JR's face must have peeled the wallpaper off.

It's my guilty pleasure! I work from home and find I'm having a late. Lunch for some reason, around about 2.00 p.m. Grin

Diid anyone see today's? The girl who lent her friend £200 so he could be insured to drive her car for ONE day!! JR wanted to know if it was a Bentley or Rolls Royce, "No it was a Toyota Corella" she replied, very seriously.

Her friend also stole newly £1500 from her bank accountShock

JR wiped the floor with him.

RustyParker · 23/01/2015 23:28

Yes Bake the friend had paid to promote his own status on his fb page, fool!

Really wanted to know more about his fraud. Were they hinting the gameshow he won £18K on was Deal or No Deal??

GooodMythicalMorning · 23/01/2015 23:30

Yeah the guy today was an utter fool. Really liked the girl's hair though.

Redglitter · 23/01/2015 23:36

I love him he's so sarcastic. I love his put downs

Bakeoffcakes · 24/01/2015 00:14

Oh I didn't hear that about Deal or No Deal. Was it a separate fraud charge he was talking about, or the one that was being heard today?

I do wonder if JR's decisions are legally binding? getting too invested

SymphonyofShadows · 24/01/2015 09:45

I saw a bit of this (rapidly getting sucked in) and didn't he have all his assets frozen by the police because of another fraud case and had to pay the gameshow money to his (other) victim?

Bakeoffcakes · 24/01/2015 10:09

Oh right. What a charmer!

MirrorMirror · 24/01/2015 10:16

Lot of the cases seem to involve people taking out phone contracts for other people who then don't pay the monthly bill and sell the phoneHmmbut then the gullible person does it again because they are friends and so called friend does exactly the same againConfused

Sparklingbrook · 24/01/2015 10:19

I love him. Smile You would have to be vair brave to appear.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 24/01/2015 10:46

Why is the tattoo one not on itv player?I need to see it

GooodMythicalMorning · 24/01/2015 10:58

It was a massive tattoo. It ended up going right down her thigh. I cant think what possessed her to let them do it.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 24/01/2015 11:26

Found it, I'm watching it right now. It's bloody awful

GooodMythicalMorning · 24/01/2015 12:59

All involved in that one were silly weren't they.

BreconBeBuggered · 24/01/2015 13:53

I loved the one with the fancy-dress competition at the club in Dunfermline.

'I'm from Cowdenbeath', sez claimant, in a West Fife accent. Rinder is theatrically shocked. 'Did you just swear at me?'
