It is not as funny tonight.

Tonight's episode was a bit of a let down after last weeks.

Haven't watched the second episode. Quite liked the first, but distracted by implausibility of the same doctor/nurse/sonographer apparently giving abnormal smear results and doing an early scan (which somehow showed an obvious penis) at the same consultation...?

I'm watching quite enjoying it. His back tracking when he picked the more expensive ring was funny.

I thought the ring covered in piss was hilare.

Loved the line about the new fit deputy head - 'tell me you don't want to squat on his face'! Filthy!

We watched the first 2 episodes on catch up after seeing Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney on Graham Norton. Loved it, really laugh out loud funny. Loved the frittata comment. Oddly sweet as well - listing each others good points, for example.

Ashley Jensen as the hideous friend was hilarious, loved the teacher mate too.

Looking forward to next episode

Episode 3 was great! Loved the first scene in bed with the shared disaster scenarios, hers tearful & woeful, his angry. Great writing!

I grew up in the same small town as Sharon Horgan and knew her from afar as a teenager. She was terrifying - beautiful, outrageous and cuttingly sarcastic. She was a couple of years older than me and my friends and we'd nudge each other and hiss "There's Sharon!" as she tore up the dancefloor and caused mayhem with the boys. I forgot about her then about 20 years later "Pulling" came out and I wasn't at all surprised, she's so funny.

grocklebox I know what you mean - I'm not being snippy either when I say this but I find her foul-mouthed humour quite Irish; she reminds me of some of my friends!

The series just gets better and better. I have to watch it in complete silence and concentration, as I want to immerse myself in every bit of it if you know what I mean! I have become rather fond of Rob too...
