I really do think its Abi now. It's too obvious to be Max. The way Emma said "I don't care, it's still murder", makes me think the killer intended to kill someone else but they got Lucy instead.

Yes intended to fight with Lola but got Lucy instead.

I'd say there was pressure from Nick on that front. He assaulted her last night when she sussed him out.

I'm thinking more and more it was Abi with Jay and Ben (repaying Jay) covering up for her, try to make it look like a robbery gone wrong and hid Lucy's things in the allotment. Abi knew Lucy had sustained a head injury caused by Max so knew where on Lucy to aggravate an injury without having to cause further injuries (iyswim).

Max found out/was finally told by Jay and so his alibi was brought in line to fit with Abi's. When this does all finally get revealed I will slightly miss donning a Poirot moustache / Sherlock Holmes hat every time I watch EE

I assumed it was Nick who set Phil up.

I wonder if the writers are keeping an eye on all of these forums. I know they've already decided who the murderer is but hopefully they keep an eye out so that it doesn't end up as a "let down." Most posters have said they would be very annoyed for it to be an outsider / random etc
