Yes either people have unlimited money despite rarely working or have nothing.

Kat and Alfie just annoys me now it's so on and off it's boring. Max and Tanya were the same. I remember when the big Christmas story was max being married and I couldn't even remember when he was with Tanya or not anyway. Why do they think we care!

Kat is just down right nasty. Why does anyone still have anything to do with her?

I think Charlie feels uncomfortable but Max keeps plugging the "how will you feel if Ronnie dies" angle. Max is doing my head in. Ok he is grieving but he is being as absolute dick to Lauren. I didn't buy his shit excuse for tearing up Emma's papers either. How did he know the reason she was outside when she got hit was because she was chasing Lucy's case? Unless he was the one she phoned and met??

I quite liked what Kat did. She's fought all her life against feeling like a prostitute and being used by men. I totally see that taking the money (especially on Alfie's say-so) would be like accepting she was bought & sold.

Charlie bloody well should feel uncomfortable! He knows Phil isn't guilty, because he knows Nick is.

youare realised what love and honesty is?! Yeah for Emma, still manipulating and using his daughter while pretending he's 'doing it for her' and turning round screaming in the other one's face. Max always loves them and 'does right by them' when they've left him/died and never learns for the next time.
(still love him though)
Max obviously didn't do it now though bc they wouldn't confront him with so long still to go til the reveal. Otherwise it would be 'of course I didn't kill Lucy' 'okay'... 'oh no wait I did'.

Garlic the thing that annoyed me about Kat is that the money wasn't coming from Harry. It was coming from Zoe really, she passed it on, and it's been years of it being Zoe's money. Presumably Harry didn't even include Kat in his will. The money's from Zoe.
Granted I still wouldn't take it knowing where it's come from but she's homeless with three kids and no job (as she can't afford stock), everything she owns just got destroyed in a fire and her marriage just ended. Surely that factor and SEVENTEEN GRAND would be enough to at least make you think about it for more than five minutes.

Didn't Lucy fall over and bash her head and it was spotted by David on CCTV, which was later wiped by Max?

So maybe nobody killed Lucy, perhaps it was an accident. Simply the she felt as cracked her head then died from the injury?

Zoe never had the money so I see it as coming from Harry. I don't blame her for not taking the money from the man who raped her repeatedly, indirectly warped her values for years, and made her pregnant when she was barely out of her childhood. The money's tainted. I also don't blame her getting a shag.

Apologies for not rtft, but I'm playing catch up on EE this week. Is Nick Cotton staying indefinitely? I may well have to throw something at the screen if I see him one more time. When he was doing his "Sprog" lines, I was literally cringing. Charlies' crying and even my Dad could have played that scene better. My Dad's a retired accountant, ffs! Grin

YY, Southeast, and Zoe was Kat's child by Harry. It's a revolting idea to accept 'payment' ... In real life I'd say take the money and spend it on therapy, but obviously that isn't going to happen in East Enders Grin

No I think Charlie has been fooled by Nick who sweetened him up. I really don't think Charlie knows it was Nick or he would be angry with him. The only person who actually KNOWS is Mrs Doyle. Phil has sort of guessed.

Although I understand Kat's reasons- she should have taken the money just because she has three kids and is homeless. But I see why she wanted to assert herself over it.
