What a nyd epidsode !!

Soooo by the time this gets to 1000 we should know who Lucy's killer is do we actually care?

Seems jane is the hot favourite tho Abbi a close 2nd

I had a theory that when Emma said 'it wasn't there' (or whatever she said, something similar) she was talking about Lucy's jewellery box, they hadn't seen it when searching her room with police. Implying that the person who sent it to them had taken it before the murder... Not sure what that would mean though. But as PP mentioned it was heavily featured in the good Friday episode so I'm back to square one Sad. Am now with another PP (sorry, annoying on mobile to go back and check names) that she maybe meant max had deleted the video from her laptop. Would make sense of that angry 'you know!' in the car just before she died.
I read somewhere that eastenders producer said when revealed, the murderer wouldn't be a shock, more of an 'ahhhh, that makes sense' as everything falls into place. A bit annoying because I love the shock! Still, it's got very good in the last couple of weeks, it was dragging a bit before so I don't mind so much.

TheReluctant wasn't lucy also then meant to give Jane her baby but had an abortion instead? She might still be upset about that clutchingatstraws (because I think she blamed Ian more... And also people on Eastenders get over things remarkably quickly)

My friend said the same re the 'that makes sense' being reported right back when the murder took place.

Jewellery box theory is a good one. Links in nicely because we know the drugs were kept there, someone sent it anonymously to Cindy for Christmas. We know Cindy has a wad of cash somewhere that she stole from Phil and Jay and Abi are linked to that and peter was there too?

It seems everything we know dies with Emma because of her "it wasn't there" - which is the only thing we don't know for sure. Eg we know for sure Jay and Ben and Lucy were on the bus, Jay buried the purse and phone on Bens orders, Jane hid them under the house, Lucy argued with Billy.

Anyone got any theories on who the folder fill of photos, Pam found under the fridge at Billy's, belonged to?

But the jewellery box was in Lucy's room when she was murdered because didn't Cindy tell Ian that was where Lucy kept her drugs?

And what if the writers haven't decided who the murderer is yet? They'll just fit the story around whoever they decide it will be which makes me feel cheated! However the (actual) culprit acted around the time of the murder would be irrelevant.

The photos were Billies. I can't remember what he said about them but I think he spoke to the police.

Ahh I'd just typed a reply but lost it! Sorry if this pops up twice.
But when they all make sense, that's why I wanted a shock twist, otherwise I'm a bit scared to speculate in case it becomes obvious! I liked pp idea of someone sneaking around the house hence Cindy feeling lucy's presence. That would be good/creepy.
Ugh I hope it's not Abi. For a character AND actor that I really like she's so whiny :( (sorry abi). Likewise hope it's not max. He would be a bit too obvious and a let down. Also don't want him to leave to go to prison or anything.
Yy to billy's pictures, I'd forgotten about them! This is the problem with such a long running storyline.

Something no one else has pointed out is it definitely can't be lauren because the actor who played her went on maternity leave at christmas so she wouldn't be around for a live episode in February, apart from that it's too confusing I'm just waiting to see can't figure it out!
Shame about Emma I was just starting to warm to her, and I know a lot of people don't like Ronnie but I wasn't watching it when all the bad stuff happened to her so quite like her hope she pulls through and Nick disappears again he's really annoying!

Ohh I hadnt worked out the timings of the actress' pregnancy, didn't know how far along she was. assumed she'd be written out once the murderer had been revealed. So either she is the murderer, or she's so distraught by it being max/Peter/abi etc that she goes to 'stay with her mum' for a bit. Then again, she is showing quite a bit now, even under the big jumpers so most likely they wouldn't be able to hide it that much longer!

Quick google reveals baby due early in year - an appearance seems unlikely. Unless they are wanting it to be her and seeing what happens!
They announced August so she will be 7/8 pg months now?

New to the thread but had a lot of time on my hands recently thought re 'It wasn't there' and the I only only popped out for 5mins'

I think I remember Emma saying early on that there won't a lot of blood and so Lucy was probably killed elsewhere (anyone else??)

So maybe the 'only popped out for 5min' commented reminded Emma that the killer may have only needed 5mins to do the killing then could have moved the body later.

Which could tie in with mumbling 'it wasn't there' (the common) while looking around at other possible places the killing could have taken place?

Bit of a wild theory maybe but as out there as my previous thinking - Lee found out about Lucy bullying Whit, killed her & with being in the army might have had the strength re kit training to have been able to carry her elsewhere (with the phone & wallet falling out of her handbag as he hoisted her onto his shoulder)
