elsie the best posh Brize Nor-hun is in Ep 1 when they're on patrol walking along the path just before Smurf wanders off (the tit) and gets himself shot. Hope you can find it or I'll simply have to watch the whole episode again to let you know exactly when he says it. Can you link it in with the other Brize Nor-hun when they're metal detecting upto Sohail in the road in ep 3, so we can have a double-dose so to speak?

I agree pixie - if any bloke bossed me about like that IRL I'd use my new found OG dictionary of words and tell him to "fu** off you bellend" but if it was CJ I'd say "yes Sir, how high/where do you want me/what, TOTALLY naked?"

pixie the "bloody effort in" would be good as the alarm on my phone to wake me up in a morning!

Nickel Brains is quite sweet really, isn't he? They are all quite sweet towards Molly after they realise Smurf and CJ truth be told were being a complete sh*t to her. It seems to be Mansfield Mike who crops up in the ff, but I have to say, I do have a soft spot for Dangles. You rarely see him without either his helmet or that silly hat on, but when his head is bare, he looks sooooooooo young. Whenever I see him, he makes me smile.

If I wasn't in work in an open plan office I'd try and find some nice pics of the boys to put up, but I think I have embarrased myself enough here today what with laughing my lunch up! so should probably wait till I am back home, but might try and find some of Dangles, Brains and MM.

I certainly need to put some bloody effort in today - no work done yet and it's time for lunch/another dvd catchup or maybe a bit of SPOs ff. Supposed to be compiling eldest son's cv as he's decided no Uni for him...maybe he'll decide to join the army after puking up in a recruitment office doorway following a boozy night and bring some new friends/his CO round for tea ahem! Now, where did I put those Join the Army pamphlets?!

Oh, good luck for your son's results richtea. I wouldn't worry too much if they're not quite what he hoped for though - my son got a C/D in some of his mocks and then managed A/A*s in the real ones. It's a different ball bag for A levels though. He's got his mocks this week and I've a horrible feeling they will be a good indicator of the real ones.

Right off to read rhubarb's latest, before a final go at the sales.

I confess I would never, ever want one of my kids to join the army. I am not strong enough.
Interestingly, at the moment they could only both join the army of one nation (mine), but the little one is already English, whilst the big one has already also his dad's citizenship. So they could potentially be soldiers of 2 different counties, or choose to join mine (god forbid that!! That'd be the worst choice ever! Known for having soft skills only :-)

How I didn't sound too blasé earlier, richtea. What I meant was that disappointing results can sometimes be a kick up the backside. That's definitely what happened to my son. He managed to pull his finger out on time and get (mostly) the results he wanted. However, I honestly think it's too late for him this time round. I'd be interested in learning more about the talk you mentioned cherin. I need some motivational tips!

What's that Jen? Blindfolded...bed...I couldn't focus past the wonky crown. Might gonna need to pay more attention for the next 10 times I watch clip coz I missed it doh! Defo watching THAT episode if it is BA. Hopefully he'll remove the dodgy crown first.

I wondered that onlygirl, but not sure if I want it to be or not!! Seems a bit disloyal to Molly ... yes I know it's only tv, but I still prefer him as CJ and it doesn't seem right somehow?!?!

So much has happened whilst I was away, have really enjoyed catching up on all the fanfiction. My jaw literally dropped when one girl confessed she had written our favourite QS. I had never guessed that so many of you were the fan fiction writers. rhubarb I am really enjoying yours, it is so cleverly done.
cherin you comments about Italians only being able to focus up when food is involved are so true. I did manage to get some of the Venchi chocolate spread, I couldn't see it in the supermarket but Venchi have just opened a shop at Malpensa.
It was my first day back at work yesterday and I just couldn't get my head back into normal but off today so with DSs at school I am going to watch my DVD in peace
I confessed to DH about thread and ff (reading not writing!) But I did not explain the true meaning of my stag pants or that I had watched the DVD so many times that I know it all off by heart or that I now know the Pashto for "what is your name?" And "raise your arms". That will surely come in handy one day.

Lunch and Rhubarbs FF, it can't get any better. orphan I know exactly what you mean about a kick up the arse, re. Results (or a regulation 6 hole boot up the arse!) there is time to turn it around. They also have another load of mocks to do later, think that's why DS1 is so bloody casual, because they are the mocks of the mocks!

cjwoof don't you know the protocol? Remove crown and socks before any blindfold business in bed.

Just out and about with youngest at the moment but I should be able to sort out some text alert/ringtones that I'll post later tonight. Then you can always have CJ in your pocket demanding you put some bloody effort in!

It might come as a shock orphan but I'm a blindfold virgin so need BA to give me some pointers so to speak.

My only expertise is in fireside wrestling...blindfolding is a whole new ball bag

elsie that would be great. I was going to ask one of my young techie colleagues how to transfer your clip onto my phone and it become a ringtone or alarm. Does that mean I can't use the clip as it is? I was going to try Bluetooth but I'm pretty much a novice. I was reluctant to ask though in case he wanted an explanation of who the voice was!!

Ooh Rhubarb I'm filling up, that was a fu*ing awesomefab chapter! Oops sorry slipping back into OG dictionary corner, what a co*womble. You weave the storyline so well into the essence we already know and make it a standalone tale all by itself. I knew you were brilliant

I'm saving up Rhubarb's ff for tonight. I started reading the whole thing from the start again so I will enjoy reading the new chapter in context.
