Well, it looks as if they cancelled it at the end of April (I think 'May sweeps' is generally when this kind of thing is decided, am hazy on the details) and they would have finished filming some time before then I suspect.

It's all about the ratings, innit? Basically US TV (all TV to some extent but particularly there) is just a numbers game. Ratings tanked so the advertising slots aren't worth as much, so the network doesn't make as much money, so off it goes.

Sorry you were disappointed Blondes, but think we've all agreed it was one or two seasons too far. Very cobbled ending, but still enjoyed seeing it through to the bitter end!

Btw, I'm re watching ER and who popped up as a kidney donor - a very young very blonde Nolan Ross! The episode is about 17 years old but he looks pretty much the same bless him!
