Twohootsandapumpkin · 10/10/2006 22:12

That poor child (Charlotte's I mean) WTF is she like? Play with fire hun, you get burnt. I am getting more and more watching her!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pinkchampagne · 10/10/2006 22:17

I think Charlotte is far too immature to be a mum. Very sad for her baby.

I agree that the parents with the 2 SN los seem quite switched on - the girl esp seemed very 'mature'.

Just saw Charlotte's mum say that if she doesn't sort herself out the baby will be taken out of her care.... will watch for bated breath. I just said to DH that I thought that child would be better off adopted tbh - they pick up so much and it's clear that she wants nothing to do with that poor little mite. I really hope the next part shows an improvement as it's making me really and . And sorry but how the hell didn't her parents spot she was pregnant - like wearing a puffa jacket round the house is normal???? Eh?

PS - I also thought the twin mum was fantastic - a real role model for young mums (if there should be one?). It must be bad enough with one child at that age but two!

Munz · 10/10/2006 22:23

I thought the twins were 5 month - CC isn't till 6 months is it at the earliest?

FredBassett · 10/10/2006 22:28

What a gorgeous picture to end on

merlin · 10/10/2006 22:30

soppy thing that I am - sat here in tears at the wedding with those gorgeous 3 children. Amazing couple to cope with all that.

hairymclary · 10/10/2006 22:33

i was in tears over charlotte. I realy hope something good happens to that baby

Pinkchampagne · 10/10/2006 22:36

Me too.

What a fantastically cute grin from Ivan at the last shot - he is a little charmer...

Sadly, I fear the future does not hold to much for Sophie with Charlotte for a mum. I think her grandparents will raise her and I think the whole family is in for a rough patch from what Charlotte's mum was saying.

I hope Charlotte comes to her senses soon...

Mirage · 10/10/2006 22:43

Poor baby Sophie. When she cried I wanted to slap Charlotte & pick the poor little thing up & comfort her myself. Why oh why is she keeping a baby that she resents when so many people are desperate to adopt a baby?

All the other mums were fab,was impressed by the father of 5 working from 2am til 8pm to support his family. You don't often hear positive things of teenage parents.

hairymclary · 10/10/2006 22:46

I think a lot of charlottes problem is that she hasn't bonded properly, she needs more 1-2-1 time with sophioe to do that.
But also that she is scared shitless. Of people laughing at her for doing it wrong, or being judged.

Her parents have done her no favours by taking over the childcare instead of encouraging her to do it herself.

Piffle · 11/10/2006 09:11

I exepcted to watch this programme and it be the usual useless teen parents article. I was ready to flame and judge
Instead came out with some pretty decent admiation for some of those kids. Heads screwed on.
charlotte was a very sad story, I alwats presumed when having a baby you'd struggle with coping with the day to day chores - washing/feeding/changing/sleep etc

I never knew or thought anyone ever struggled with loving their child.
I wonder what her parenting was like. She was a very immature 14, you knew exactly why she was seeking out sex tbh IMO, = with love - hence baby not qualifying
Tragic, hope she gets support and help - one did feel that baby would be better off adopted, which is very harsh.

Piffle · 11/10/2006 09:12

also shocked when Charlotte sparents said she wold get Sophie taken off her...
into their CARE?
