All the usual suspects, song-wise, are present. Even managing to shoe-horn 'I'm every woman' in, even though it's a cover.
Looking forward to Lamenting Lozza, making HWIK sound like a funeral march.

Despite the theme, I am disappointed 'Don't let the sun.' isn't the Nik Kershaw song 'I won't let the sun...' Wouldn't be unusual for Louis to completely mess up the theme, after allGrin.

And it's a double elimination. Will Melty 'still be standing' by Monday? Will the fact OTY are doing something grown up and serious for once , be their downfall?

See y'all later. I am in homework hell. Is it too early for Wine?

And now we get the shouting.

He just sounds like he needs to cough up the phlegm, really.

DD1 is now doing dancing eyebrows faces at me.

I much prefer Dolly's version of this and as it started with a slight country twang I was hopeful. It was utter shite though

As long as your hamster stick to burrowing up your pyjamas fairy, you should be fine. As long as he doesn't attempt to burrow somewhere else.

Squoosh- think we must be a similar age as I remember this being the last dance at a few school discos!

is it a rock voice?

What would Mel B know about light and shade- everything she did was on one shouty note. Hmm

please please PLEASE can we have 'Family Week' when each contestant has to bring along a family member and incorporate them into their act. A chorus line of Nans, a bevy of cousins, people doing balloon modelling.....

He's going nowhere, that much is true.

Yes. Doing it as full on country would have been way better.

Even better if he'd done it in a dolly wig while sitting in his van.

Those bodies with poppers, specially the velvet ones. Boob flattening.
Girls, Dermot? I can't see any under-tens on the friffing stage.

I am amazed at your hamster sleeping on you. Mine never did that. He would attempt to run for his life whenever let out of his cage.

I like how Simon slipped up admitting he chose the song when in the VT it pretended it was Ben.

Seriously they need to tell the gobby families to pipe down.

Family Week is genius. Oh, but I mourn the lost years of Nans. Nanfucker Nan. Bo Selecta Nan. Oh, and Verucca Lily's Tennis Dad. So many missed opportunities.
