Hi, sorry!

Noah is a character in the video game and as far as I know he's a confirmed character in season 5 and set to appear in the next episode.

In the video game he bumped into Daryl in the hospital (where Beth is) and he is being used as a test subject.

Might not be him that is with Daryl now but that's my best guess

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 28/10/2014 21:06

Ok, I've just watched it and Oh My God. That was brilliant! That look on Gareth's face when he spotted the red handle sticking out of Ricks waistband and Rick said 'I made you a promise'!

ginnycreeper5 · 28/10/2014 21:23

Darryl seemed almost to be a little sheepish/embarrassed at who he had with him.
Why would that be?
Does it mean it's somebody we know. Or a stranger? Hmm

rallytog1 · 28/10/2014 21:31

I think he's sheepish because he doesn't have Carol OR Beth.

JessePinkmansHoody · 28/10/2014 21:39

Maybe he's sheepish because HE'S just had tree sex... Someone needs to.. It's in my head now...

Have we discussed the possibly of Daryl being gay? There seems to be some general net-wide preoccupation with this concept...

And yes yes I KNOW Grin re digestion/nutrition in zombies... But they DO hunger don't they? What drives that instinct?

KimberBentonIsGoingSolo · 28/10/2014 21:57

I did consider it could be Morgan but I don't think so...

As far as I remember it's only Rick, Carl and Michonne who know Morgan.

I think it's definitely Noah, just because I'm pretty sure he is going to be in the Beth episode which would set up a bit of an introduction for him for the episode afterwards where it will go back to where the last episode ended.

The only other person it could be is Beth I suppose.

ginnycreeper5 · 28/10/2014 21:59

Beth's okay as long as she doesn't start singing at us again

Rollergirl1 · 28/10/2014 22:02

But nobody knows where Carol and Darryl went. All they know is that they are missing. They don't know that they saw the car so they won't be expecting Beth. Also how long has it been since they saw the car and sped off after it? Surely only a day?

Next weeks episode will be focused on Beth at wherever she is/was.

As for Glenn and Maggie, they didn't want to go but they promised that they would when ginger guy wanted to take the bus in the middle of the night. He said he would wait 12 hours and i think the deal was that they would go with them after that time. I agree that they have been pretty subdued and quiet for a while now but I don't think that spells the end for them. I reckon they'll be massively kick-arse at some point soon and it will be all the more dramatic because they've been so low-key lately.

Can someone remind me why Tyreese is such a pussy these days? I can't remember what happened that means he can't kill anybody?

rallytog1 · 28/10/2014 22:07

I could be wrong, but I'm sure the series trailer showed that bus on its side and Abraham on his knees next to it crying... So I don't think that group will go very far or be gone very long.

KimberBentonIsGoingSolo · 28/10/2014 22:10

I think he was traumatised by Carole killing Lizzie. I absolutely hated that part, the fact that Carol sat and discussed it at the kitchen table and then took her out to die.

But anyway, since that point he's not wanted to kill - I don't think that makes him a pussy. Probably just makes him human.

But nobody knows where Carol and Darryl went.

I'm assuming they found the hospital.

I think they want to try and keep peace within the group. Abraham has known those two the longest out of the original group. There was obviously a clash of power between him and Rick.

Also in the trailer you see the church bus flip over ... so year a kick ass scene is coming up soon I'm sure.

Rollergirl1 · 28/10/2014 22:12

I don't think it's hunger that drives zombies need to kill/eat. Because generally speaking as soon as they've turned they want to kill/eat. Why don't they eat each other?

I'm not just talking about TWD here but Zombie films in general. I've never understood why as soon as a person turns in to a zombie that they all of a sudden have this raging hunger to eat other people. So i don't think it is about being hungry.

I can't believe i'm trying to psycho-analyse a zombie. Grin

spengler · 28/10/2014 22:14

13th October!!!
Really, this is an awsome show where have you all been for the last weeks!?!?!?!

ginnycreeper5 · 28/10/2014 22:14

They like fresh meat.

guaranteedpersonality · 28/10/2014 22:15

Haha I so hope there is no more singing. I think next weeks episode looks good.

funny and limited I am sure I can remember an episode in the prison - maybe around the time the governor attacks - where Rick gives instructions to go out and clear the dead zombie bodies.

I don't think the person with Darryl can be Morgan because it has been confirmed that the scene of him following the markers is at least a few weeks after Rick et al went.

I do think it's a problem with the Walking Dead you have to watch The Talking Dead or read AMC's website to confirm details - like the timeline or the fact Tyrese did think he'd killed Martin (according to Chad when asked on the Talking Dead.)

spengler · 28/10/2014 22:16

lol now I see how the forum works! I could only see the first page.

guaranteedpersonality · 28/10/2014 22:19

Yes agree Tyrese (and Carol) have been deeply and understandably affected by the events at The Grove. I think as he said at the end to Rick - it killed him.

Tyrese is one of my favourites now I think his internal struggle is quite compelling.

Snakesandpropertyladders · 28/10/2014 22:24

Am I the only person who thinks they are really rushing through the story lines this season?
The writing isn't what it was. There's no suspense and the group can easily kill anyone in a few seconds no matter what the situation.

ginnycreeper5 · 28/10/2014 22:27

I'm not feeling it in Season 5, I hope it picks up (could be because I'm not binge-watching this series, which could be the best way to watch TWD) as opposed to watching it once a week. which gives me nightmares for some reason

I am SO exhausted from fighting zombies every Monday night)

KimberBentonIsGoingSolo · 28/10/2014 22:27

I feel the same.

For example I think Rick is pretty crazy (ripping a guys throat out with his teeth, wanting to go back to Terminus to kill the survivors etc) but he has Carl and Judith as his "moral compass". If anything happens to them then Rick would completely cross over the line into full on crazy.

Tyrese doesn't have that moral compass. He's not the sort of person who would kill for revenge like Rick, which he showed by forgiving Carol for killing Karen.

I wouldn't want the whole group to turn into killing machines without feelings or emotions. Like I said before his internal struggle is what makes him human.

KimberBentonIsGoingSolo · 28/10/2014 22:29

Am I the only person who thinks they are really rushing through the story lines this season?

I know what you mean, I never expected them to get out of Terminus in one episode.

I thought Gareth would hang around for a little longer too.

I doubt they will make it to Washington this season, I think the furthest they will get is Alexandria.

ginnycreeper5 · 28/10/2014 22:32

Does anybody else spend most of Monday night fighting zombies in their dreams?
or is it just me that's nuts?

I've thought about recording it and watching it in the morning instead Hmm

CheerfulYank · 28/10/2014 22:37

I hated them killing Lizzie too but I think it was the only thing they could have done. Poor Carol. Poor Ty. :(

I think Tyreese is where Carol was a few seasons back when she wouldn't vote whether or not to kill Randall. She refused. He was kind of like that with Lizzie...knew it had to be done, but couldn't do it.

Rollergirl1 · 28/10/2014 22:45

I also think the last 3 episodes seem a bit rushed. But maybe that's just because the entire last season was very slow and focused on the individual groups and progressing their characters.

Tyrese doesn't have that moral compass. He's not the sort of person who would kill for revenge like Rick, which he showed by forgiving Carol for killing Karen.

I don't think you can really compare Tyrese forgiving Carol with Rick killing to protect the one he loves. Tyrese didn't really have any other choice than to forgive Carol. At the time it was just the two of them and Carol had just had to kill Lizie and they had Judith. When Rick bit that guys throat out it was pure survival instinct kicking in to protect his son.

KimberBentonIsGoingSolo · 28/10/2014 23:06

Well no I can compare if I want too.

I think Rick's actions shock the group on numerous occasions.

I don't think Tyrese had to forgive Carol. He could have let his hate fester and killed her for revenge at a later point. He didn't. Pretty much displayed in the latest episode when he talks to Sasha about forgiveness.

Millie3030 · 29/10/2014 07:46

Oh cheerfulyank yes you and your family can definitely come and join me and bingobonkers in our zombie escape plan, should someone steal your boat. We are going to hide in B&Q do you know as a yank what that is? It's a big DIY/tools shop, but massive and sells all metal and pointy things.

I do think boats are a good call in case of a zombie apocalypse, front crawl or backstroke isn't their forte.

What is everyone else's escape plan? Are we all heading to the same place?
